Motel 6 Monterey Park, CA

The first room we got the door had been kick in prior to us arriving so when we got to then room I was able to just push the door open and when the door was shut it would not lock we told the employee in the office they gave us another room after me and my wife went into the 2nd room we could multiple stains on all of the bedding after this we ended up leaving and getting a different hotel

There were stains on all bedsheets and pillows. Staff said no housekeeping was available and no other room was available. We got a refund and went elsewhere.

I return back to here because it has a cheap price, not because of the quality... however, I was told they would not rent to me a 2nd time. No reason was given. During my first stay my room door had to be shut harder in order to stay locked, because the mechanism was broken. otherwise the door would stay open. In the morning I was walking my dog and I guess it was the manager or whoever was on property said "Sir" to me while I was going in the elevator, I asked them "Yeah?" as a question and they didn't say anything so I went up the elevator. I then saw the same man standing in the parking lot and I asked him what did he want, and he said he's just watching the property. There was no reason for them not to rent to me, I have a separate Studio in the area and sometimes I want to rent a hotel close that accepts dogs. I want an explanation of why they won't rent to me or I'm going to file a discrimination complaint. I asked the manager for a call back and never received one.

I didn’t like nothing about it. They had cockroaches. That stuff wasn’t helpful at all. There was cockroaches. I couldn’t get a refund. I couldn’ go to a different location or a different room.

The place is run down the sink in bathroom looked like if I set the toothpaste tub on it, it would have come off the wall it was missing the cold water faucet. The weather seal on the door was missing you could see daylight for days

Check in was 2 pm. No one was in the office until 2:50. Waited for almost an hour for someone to show up.

Bunch of cockroach’s in the bathroom and black mold everywhere

People outside their doors just hanging around. There were roaches. I just turned the light on from the bathroom and they started coming out.

The area itself was decent and the room looked okay at first, but once I looked closer, it was clearly not properly cleaned. The biggest problem was the roaches. There were large cracks around the bathroom sink and shower area, and I literally saw roaches coming out from them. I also found around four roaches outside the bathroom, some getting close to the bed. The room had dust under the bed, an unopened candy left behind from a previous guest, and the edges of the mattress were brown and disgusting. The sheets and pillows looked and smelled clean, but after seeing the condition of everything else, I didn’t feel comfortable trusting the cleanliness of the room. I couldn’t properly sleep because I was constantly thinking about the roaches. The next morning, I didn’t even use the bathroom. I woke up and left as soon as possible because I didn’t want to stay there any longer. The entrance and parking area also smelled bad. The location was probably the only positive thing about the stay. A hotel room can be basic or outdated and I wouldn’t complain, but a roach infestation is completely different. This room needs a serious deep cleaning and pest treatment before being rented to guests again.

No tv, no ice machine, no wifi

Stayed for 2 nights. The stay was ok if you staying only 1 night. The TV not working, too little water from the shower, no hair dryer, no light/busted by the sink. Requested to change the room since we are staying for 2 nights but we’re not allowed. We stayed our 2 weeks trip mostly in motel 6 but this hotel made me disappointed.
