Comfort Inn Monterey Park - Los Angeles

I booked this hotel last minute because my last place was terrible, and it was very nice. They had a good amount of food options and the staff was polite. The room was nice and clean and the hotel is walking distance from the dollar store. Random but a good option if you’re feeling cheap and want something quick before heading out.

The gym is too small, but breakfast is decent, nice place for a couple of nights

The entire staff was very helpful and courteous . I would come back again, when we visit the Los Angeles area. Happy Guest !!

Clean room and every one was nice.

When we arrived to check in, it was very late. Our flight was delayed and it was around midnight. The person who checked us in wasn’t very friendly or came across as welcoming, and the person who checked us out was friendly. When we entered our room, it smelled moldy and felt humid. We had to crank the AC down to 69 but the smell was still there. The room was trash free and came with necessary amenities. On our second night, there was noise in the hallway and it sounded like they were doing some kind of maintenance. This was very poorly planned because it was midnight already. I had to cover myself with a pillow to drown out the noise.

Parking needs better help

It’s a very cozy place to stay and was very accommodating for me and my friend. The staff was amazing and very sweet to us. It’s in a good area where you can take quick drive down the road to a convenience store. We will definitely be returning for the next trip!

At around 6:00 AM, while it was raining in Los Angeles, the fire alarm suddenly went off for no apparent reason. We turned on the lights to check what was happening and were shocked to discover that water was leaking into our room from multiple areas around the fire/sprinkler fixtures. There were three different places leaking water, and the leaks were quite severe. The worst part was that one of the sprinkler/fire fixtures directly above our bed was continuously leaking water onto the bed. Because of this, we were woken up at 6:00 AM and were unable to go back to sleep. We contacted the hotel repeatedly and asked the staff to help resolve the situation, but unfortunately, they were unable to provide an effective solution. Having water leaking heavily into the room and directly onto the bed is completely unacceptable, especially after paying for a two-night stay. This experience seriously affected our rest and completely ruined the end of our stay. We were very disappointed with how the situation was handled and expected much better from the hotel.

The room was okay but could be cleaned. The breakfast area is too small and there was no where to sit. The lady helping doesn’t speak English and kept saying “I don’t know” but could tell me I put too much batter in the cup for my waffles.

Odor in outdated room. Breakfast area unpleasant in lower floor hallway. Are only has 16 chairs w 4 tables for a hotel that accomodates 100s of customers.

My partner and I were very pleased with the cleanliness of the room and attentiveness of the staff. Breakfast was also very good.

Great employees! Super helpful with all things! Was a little thrown off with the room being right next to the front desk but other than that it was a great stay. Very well organized and clean!!!!!

Great location, the hotel was very near Los Angeles, the location helped cutting time getting in and out of the city. The staff was very helpful and willing to give recommendations and assist in every little detail. I will definitely stay in this hotel again.
