Comfort Inn Monterey Park - Los Angeles

The doors to the rooms are a big problem, this is the 2nd time I’ve stayed there now and it hasn’t improved, people slamming doors all day and night, people just so inconsiderate and the staff don’t even know or bother to try to stop it, and people above you stomping around the room at all times even at night when trying to sleep is another problem, floors and walls to thin, was glad to get away from there, had to move rooms both times was there,. Won’t go back again ever, very unhappy stay.

The room wasn’t clean to my expectation my grandkids were barefoot and on the carpet and their feet would end up very dirty and the hard floor as well . One of the pillows had a bad order that penetrated to my grandsons head and the other one smelled strong of body oils. I am not a clean freak but they are things that should be common sense clean pillows and floors. Especially when you have children Over all the staff was amazing and courteous.

The room was cleaned. The area felt safe. The restroom was not very good not to clean either. I didn’t feel clean after showering in there. but it was only a quick two day stay thankfully.

This is my second time staying at this hotel it's very clean, family friendly and all staff are very nice.

The hotel is ok, the curtain in our room is leaking light from outside and the place seems have a street light nearby all the time. The curtain is blackout but it seems the length of it isn’t long enough and has some light gets in.

The room had a musty odor particularly in the bathroom as if there is water damage previously. Otherwise, it's my regular go to place.

The front desk lady was so nice and welcoming, she let us check in early. Easy parking, clean & spacey room, and hotel located in pretty quiet area. We would love to stay there again when we come back LA! Thank you :)

Have been staying here for the past 1 yr and half and it’s always been good stay.

Although our room was incredibly tiny, it was clean and breakfast was very good.

Check in took forever! She was very slow. But the property itself is decent. Nothing fancy but very solid, average, and good if you just need somewhere to sleep. I had family in the hospital nearby and just needed a bed so this place served that purpose. The area is not impressive but it has free parking and WiFi and a great breakfast.

First day after check in, staff came in the room twice unannounced, to stock towels. That was strange. The toilet and shower is separate from the sink and mirrors. Weird design, because now the door handle gets dirty each time you use the toilet. The sink faucets in this hotel sprays like a shower head. Water will splash everywhere if you wash hands under higher pressure. If you want a place with a gym, skip this place. It was a small room that had one bike, a treadmill and a cable machine that is set up too close to the wall. Cheap cable machine that doesn’t offer a lot of pull on the cable. Also doesn’t have extra attachments. Overall a 2.5/5 star stay at the most. If you want a quiet/cheap place to lay your head, go for it.
