Good

Parking was free and easily assessable to the units.

Do not go to this hotel. It was gross and I think we may have picked up bed bugs.

When I told the lady that I want another room she just walked away and wave her hands saying no more rooms. no mor rooms.

Usually I don't like to complain, I'm sure that certain things happen for a reason, & good help is hard to find, but cutting corners is not the way to go if you are running a business. I didn't feel safe, because, the first room I had was way in the back , upstairs, & the door looked like it had been kicked in several times..So when I complained, I was given a room in the front downstairs, where I could at least see my car, just in case, I had to leave in a hurry...I thought I had the wrong key to the room, because the door wouldn't open, Surprisingly the lady in the office couldn't program the key, so I was stuck inside my room until the next day until someone showed up who could give me a key..The room had a very strong, stale, vintage, non-ventillated odor...I turned on the a/c, but that made it worse. Underneath the sink in the bathroom was horrible, The beach towels were nice, but they had some stains on them, the head boards were loose or held together by duck tape, they was graffiti inside the drawers & behind the tv., which stopped working with the romote, so I had turn it off by hand.The shower was ok , if you like standing in 3 inches of water..The mattress was a little bit too short for me, because my feet were hanging out of the bed..I took some pictures, because I couldn't believe my eyes...!

Excellent service very clean and staff are fantastic.

The front desk it was very nice and very helpful. The rooms were spacious but the room we got smelled like smoke. I thought I had a non-smoking room, but apparently there was a nice train there so it was a smoking room the only handicap room they had other than that place is OK prices what you get would you pay for and that it was a pleasant day other than the smoky room

An unexpected delay in travel plans at 11pm forced me to search for a place to stay overnight. The Kings Lodge Motel seemed to be one of the least expensive private room with bath options in a safe neighborhood not too far from downtown Los Angeles. My requirements were simple because I only needed a place to sleep for 7 hours: bed, shower, towels, soap and shampoo. I used the air conditioning briefly to lower the temperature in the room. The guy at the front desk was friendly and helpful. If you only need an inexpensive place to shower and sleep, this place will meet your needs, but don't expect much more. I find better values using AirBnB, but my late night change in plans made that alternative impossible.
