Courtyard by Marriott Los Angeles Monterey Park

Absolutely loved this hotel! So new looking and so clean. Felt like living in luxury but at a great affordable price. Parking was gated and so plentiful, felt so safe. Nice Asian plaza across the street and nearby as well for food and snacks. Will definitely come back!

We stayed at Courtyard by Marriott Monterey Park for three nights. On check in, the room was available at noon so that was extra nice and staff was very friendly giving us small complimentary bottled water. Rooms are cleaned every other day but we requested for new towels daily. The beds were comfortable and different types of pillows (feather, poly filled) were available which was wonderful depending on what you like. Shower was great and this is the first time I’ve seen a bidet on the toilet. Our last night there, although not the hotels fault… two women/men were yelling from 2-3 am most likely from drunkenness and bumping into our shared walls. Therefore, the walls must’ve been a little thin but at least we couldn’t hear their conversation … just high pitched screams. The Starbucks coffee at The Bistro was convenient. My hot latte was fine but my daughter’s iced latte gave her an upset stomach after a few sips. Parking was underground so there was a sense of safety. Also there was enough pathway to accommodate dropping off people in one lane along with another lane to go straight to parking. All in all, a very nice hotel.

The room was spacious. The hotel is next to a movie theater. The hotel is in the middle of bustling Monterey Park.

We have stayed here no less than 10 times. It looks like either ownership changed or management has. Staff was super friendly on our other stays. Not this time Moon checked us in and was short rude and didn't know the system. He also didn't let me know the internet was down. That last a day and a half. I needed that for work. Our room was booked for my wife my 4 year old daughter and I. We only had two towels in the room. I called and asked for more. They never came. The garage arm was up or just not working so you couldn't get out at one point. We were there for 4 nights I room was cleaned once and when I ask front desk to clean our room. He said it was policy to only clean 1 time every other day. I had to steal towels off a housekeeping cart. Again this looks to me like a management or ownership shift. One NOT for the better. We checked out early and went to a different hotel. I would pass on this place if you want a place with service, good housekeeping and friendly staff.

It was clean just a couple hairs in the restroom but other than that spotless. Super friendly front staff and over the phone as well. Will definitely stay here again.

The hotel is super clean and our room was very nice. Our room was facing towards the main street so we got a good view. The blinds really helps when the sun comes out. But the Ac isn't that strong to make the room cold. So it gets hot when you sleep. Overall this hotel is really good for my first time there.

Best staff was so welcoming and friendly which made my day so much better after such a hectic flight and Rental Car process. They even made last minute accommodations from my room. The staff at the Starbucks was so sweet and kind that by day two they had memorized my order and the food for the hotel was absolutely amazing. I'm traveling back to LA and October for concerts( Taemin and Monsta X) and staying in koreatown BUT decided to book three extra days just to relax in this hotel because just to relax and try a few restaurants in the area. Did I add that the bathroom had a bidet??? SOLD
