Candlewood Suites Montgomery- North by IHG

Hotel was in a safe, quiet area. The room could use a good deep clean. The floors needed a good mopping and the shower had hair in it. Overall, good for a quick nights sleep.

They do not clean rooms once a week. Went 3 weeks without my room being cleaned and the sign was not on the door. And when they did clean, nothing was refilled. Horrible cleaning crew. Front desk crew was nice.

dishes and utinsels filthy went to put in dishwasher, it was growing a swamp. both rooms light over stove didn't work I expected an upgrade as a diamond elite they could not have cared less

Would be nice to have breakfast and just one incident where someone was smoking week at the front door

Like the cleanliness of the room w/the exception of behind the toilet. A little more cleaning needed.

The price and the location There were dirty towels and trash bag left in front of my room upon checking in . I asked the front desk to remove it and they did.

The woman at the reception desk was most pleasant and kind, she knows her business

Close to Cracker Barrel Room had dirty dishes and food in refrigerator from former person and not able to get an itemized cost of room for my company

The room smelled clean and was cold upon entry.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The lobby was bright, clean and had a nice fresh smell.

She appeared to be the only employee on duty, and I felt so bad for her that I actually helped her clean my own room before I could stay in it. No paying guest should ever have to help prepare their room after checking in. I want to make it clear that this review is not about the front desk employee. She was kind, professional, and did everything she could with the resources she had. She deserves recognition for her customer service and was clearly doing the best she could in a difficult situation. Unfortunately, despite contacting both the hotel and Expedia afterward, I was unable to receive a refund. The lack of cleanliness and the way this situation was handled by management left me extremely disappointed. I hope management takes this seriously, improves housekeeping standards, and ensures employees have the support they need so future guests don’t have the same experience.

We had a great stay! The beds were SUPER comfy! Have nothing to complain about!

We checked in around 10 pm. The lady at the front desk was fantastic! She was so kind and very professional!!! Also the lady who was there the next morning was also very kind and professional at check out. We will definitely stay here again. Everything about our stay was perfect. There were no dislikes.

The suite was amazing. Very spacious and clean. The from desk attendant who checked me in was also amazing!

We booked a room approximately a month before our stay.i called the hotel the day of check in and was told they oversold the property and I no longer had a room/reservation. My family of five was left without a reservation or room at candlewood
