Hilton Garden Inn Montgomery East

I had expected a lot more from a Hilton and the price paid. First, they were not ready for check-ins at 3pm because of a system crash. People had to wait until 4pm to be "manually" checked-in. Given this, I guess, I did not get the suite I had reserved, but a two bed queen room. In one bed, the sheets looked like they had possibly not been changed. The other bedsheets did look clean but the white duvet cover had a large old yellow stain on it. I cringe to think what it was. Surfaces were somewhat wiped down, but could have been better. Considering the long line of guests being "manually" checked-in at the front desk, I decided to just make do. It was just one night.

Nice hotel … most expensive one we stayed in during our cross country trip. They were the one with the least. Only 2 towels in the room, breakfast not included, pay extra for everything.

The service was absolutely excellent from the beginning of the stay to the end. The breakfast area was very elegant, the food was delicious. The locations of the area was very accessible to stores and restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely come again. I will rate it a 10 out of 10!

This is a one star hotel at best… why is it listed as three stars??? Our room was filthy… excrement on the toilet seat was just the beginning. Hardly anyone working there… if you need anything you’ll have to run someone down yourself. Just a terrible experience.

Room had a broken shade with holes in it. I reported to front desk. Staff was helpful by giving me a room discount. Also laminated edge on bedside table was becoming unglued.
