La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Montgomery

I gave a 4 star rating instead of a 5 because Friday night when we checked in, we were unable to watch tv for a couple of hours. We arrived during a storm and were repeatedly told that the storm was blocking the signal - that new cable system was recently installed and when I asked, I was told that no one else complained about it. Other than the tv, the rest of the stay was wonderful. The room was spotless with a pleasing appearance. The bed was comfortable; there was a walk-in shower with a grab bar and the air conditioner was quiet. Our room was facing the back of the hotel and when we looked out the window, we were greeted with trees. That was a nice surprise. Overall we were quite happy with our stay and may stay again, as long as there are no or expected storms taking in the area.

We enjoyed our short stay. The room was so big and roomy, the bed was SUPER comfy!! A few things that needed to be cleaned weren’t but it wasn’t a deal breaker. We couldn’t hear anything through the walls, and AC was perfectly cold!! Just wish the deodorizer they use in the filter wasn’t so intense! It was a little overwhelming. We would definitely stay here again!

It was very clean and very reasonable.

Needed some updated. Areas of the room looked a little worn - bathroom vanity, doors, walls. Everything was unplugged when we arrived - TV, coffee maker, lamps. Took a while to figure out why they were not working. Had to crawl under the desk to get things plugged. The room was more like an $89 room. Lobby and other areas were very nice.

I expected a bath tub but only a walk I shower. I wasn’t aware of the breakfast time it wasn’t posted. I left around 10 am

I don’t know how many times I have stayed here now…anywhere where from 4th to 6th stay. I will continue to choose this location as long as they keep it clean and have a nice staff. Thank you for another wonderful stay, until next time!

Hard to find parking

The hotel was in a convenient area to shopping, restaurants and the expressway. Property well maintained.

The room we were assigned at check in had an AC unit that was very loud. We went back to the front desk and requested another room. The second room we were assigned was much better, but it's hard to imagine that anyone could have slept in the first room. Why was this room not taken of the list of available rooms. The room was clean enough, but the floors in the lobby and in the elevators were sticky the afternoon when we arrived and were still sticky the next morning.

We requested to be moved to a different room. Initially, the front desk attendant told us that there were no other rooms available. However, after a brief conversation, she was able to find us another room. While the second room was a little dated, it was clean and much more acceptable.
