Motel 6 Montgomery, AL - Airport

Exceptional

Poor

The place was nasty roaches. The linen was not clean the towels and washcloths look like they were 100 years old poorly maintained.

Smells like marijuana when you walk in. Room was not the cleanest, stains all on towels. No complementary shampoo/soaps. To top it off no pool.

Staff was kind and helpful. The shower water pressure is too high. Didn't matter which mode the shower head was on. It almost hurt to stand in. Panelboards are falling off the wall. And the room had a strange smell to it.

The clerk was helpful and friendly. The bed was clean but the sheets were rough. The room was clean but cheap. The WiFi did not work and there was no pool, when there was a pool advertised. And they accepted cash, we should have walked away then.

Exceptional

Terrible experience, the entire hotel smells too 420 friendly, the room was filthy, linens were dirty… the shower had hair and the water came like oxide yellow… we got really late w 2 kids just to spend the night and keep driving in the morning … avoid this hotel, as you will be better off sleeping in your car at a parking lot

Room was clean & perfectly cold- Motel 6 remains excellent for all of my personal travel needs.

Good

I literally never leave reviews if they’re bad but this was pretty bad. I stay in Motel 6 a lot and though I’m almost always sure that nasty weed smell is gonna slap you in the face, it’s typically pretty clean and the rooms smell clean. But not this one. I booked two rooms for me and my family (including my two kids) but I’ll never make that mistake again. I can guarantee you this property is for strictly for blue collar men working out of town and needing a place to sleep and NOT for families. The weed smell was the worst I’ve ever smelled, the rooms (although supposed to be non smoking) wreaked of cigarette smoke with burns all in the covers. The bedding felt and smelled dirty but I gave them the benefit of the doubt until we saw housekeeping go into a room and just make the bed without changing the sheets. Could’ve been someone staying another night and they were tidying but, judging by the way our’s smelled, I doubt it. Everyone at the front desk was super nice and helpful but that would be the only good thing we experienced here. If you’re traveling with family I highly suggest avoiding this place.

Shower head was broken and they did not offer to fix it
