Hampton Inn & Suites Morgantown / University Town Centre

Parking was easy and access from the freeway was great - and not too far to travel to WVU campus. The staff were amazing - helpful and friendly. The breakfast had a decent selection and was constantly being refilled. Beds were comfortable and the bathroom had lots of room (we had an accessible room). I would come back again.

We had a good weekend stay. We even cooked out at there outside grill and fire pits. Good stay!

Great. Need some gluten free bread, rolls, bagels, muffins, or something. Loved the oranges and apples. The room size was nice. Pool was very nice. Not too cold. Nice pool towels and lots of them. Gluten free options. The room was poorly lit. The desk lamp shined down on the table and had no adjustability at all. The black out draperies only closed part way which did not allow to block out the street lights.

On Sunday morning, there were about four big teenage boys sleeping on the lobby couches while breakfast was happening. Uncomfortable and awkward for the guests.

The property itself was wonderful...no complaints there. The person who checked us in was not pleasant at all and had the vibe that she hated life. It wasn't a very welcoming experience. Breakfast options were great, but there were three young men (probably 20-22 years old) sleeping in the breakfast area. They were laying along long bench seats and taking up numerous spots to the point that some did not have a place to sit. I wish the staff would have done something, as they were there sleeping for over 2 hours that I saw. Fitness area and location were great as well.

We stayed in room 123, a king suite with accessibility and it was very nice and spacious. The only complaints I have were the heating and cooling system which didn’t work properly and the bed was not comfortable at all. Everything else was fine though. The breakfast was good!

blanket wasn’t clean, seems it was reused from previous guests. breakfast has variety choices, coffee was watery.

Great customer service. Especially the 2 young ladies working around 8pm on Thursday August 6th. (Sorry, I did not get their names)

Location The shower doors would not remain shut. There was mold in the shower. The room was damp. There was no floor threshold at the door, allowing noise and light to come through the bottom of the door so we had to place a towel there. Bathroom and room doors were misaligned or swollen due to moisture and would not open/ close without effort The beds had stains. They had garbage under the mattress. One bed made a lot of noise with a child on it, not a lot of weight on it.

My complaint was the lack of soundproofing between the door to the hallway. I had a noise maker up full volume and could still hear doors opening and closing all night long. Light was pouring in under the door, and I had to place a towel at the base.
