Bay View Inn

While on-site parking can be limited during peak hours, there is ample street parking available in front of the hotel and across the street. Additionally, it appears that dogs are welcome on the property. The lovely balcony offers a perfect spot to catch stunning sunsets with a view of Morro Bay Rock. Overall, it's a delightful place to unwind!

Was a nice place all around

The staff was great but the place is in need of much improvement. The room smelled and it was under the stairs which every person up and down can be heard and felt all day/night. Carpets was gross. Great location just needs some updating

The location is wonderful.

My only gripes are minimal: the parking lot is pretty tight so some guests may have had to park on the street. And the microwave in our room sounded like it was going to explode. Also, no swimming pool or hot tub in case anyone is wondering, but this was not something I was looking for anyway.

Beautiful location and the place was clean overall, the only complaint I had was that the room was humid but besides that it was good.

Nice place, great location, good bed and I liked the deck with the ocean view. The staff was nice and accommodating to our small dog. My only suggestion is to replace the carpet with a laminate floor as the carpet takes a beating from the beach. Overall, a good place to post up for a few days.

The property was very clean and well kept, perfect patio area to watch the sunset. The staff was very friendly and helpful, I will definitely stay there again.

Very quiet. Staff was welcoming. Room was ok, nothing special. Shower was extremely small. Toilet needs to be fastened down, every time we used it, it would hit the wall, as if it was going to fall apart. Pizza Port within walking distance was very good.

Nice Room view of Morro Bay Rock, only a block from the Water. Easy access to Dinner, walked to dinner, and everything.

Staff was very accommodating to our needs. The view was great and was close to everything. Also they had a deck that allowed smoking and, as my wife is a smoker, that was very appreciative. An overall great stay and we WILL be back

Rooms are clean Bathrooms are remodeled. Nice Balcony on property to sit and watch sunset. Would stay here again

Clean room nice staff very good price

Nice property, walking distance to almost anywhere although the steep hill back is not the most pleasant but it's not impossible.

The manager was very friendly and helpful. The location is great, just two blocks from the Embarcadero. The room was clean and large.

Room felt so gross even after showering you felt gross. There was a roach! The carpets felt like they have never been cleaned since the place was built! I’m glad it was just an over night stay and nothing long.

Paul was so helpful in so many ways. I had to extend my stay and needed a late check out due to a work commitment and he was very accommodating. Great experience!

Place is great , close to everything , clean, nothing on site indicates you have to be there by 10 pm, i like to pick a halfway point in a long drive and stay the night and we arrived very late, the dude at the counter lit into me like i was a teenager coming home late from a party , i had to sit there and take it like a good little soldier cause he was yelling at me and holding the room keys at the same time, nobody has ever spoken to me like that and i am not a violent person but thankfully there was glass between us, he actually yelled at me and says this is not a hotel, i think i kind of smiled when he said that and it seemed to set him off even more, he was thankfully gone in the morning before i checked out because i was going to give him a piece of my mind.
