The private setting of our cottage was wonderful. Breakfast was delivered each morning and was delicious. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this location. The bed was very firm, so it was a little uncomfortable for us.

Absolutely charming space. A little expensive. Location ok but we arrived at night and felt a little lost. Luckily Gary came out to meet us. High marks for charm and comfort, amazing breakfast. Did not love the rifle hanging (decoratively, I think) on the wall. Otherwise, GREAT.

If you’ve ever wondered what it feels like to live on a small farmette, I highly recommend a visit to this B&B!! There are friendly dogs and cats roaming the property and your surroundings are beautifully peaceful! It literally felt like we stepped back in time. The breakfast was excellent and delivered to our suite promptly at 9am. In all honesty, we initially didn’t feel very welcomed. Gary was extremely direct when going over the rules of the suite, and his personality was a bit strong for us. Upon our first 10 minutes of arriving, I thought I made a huge mistake choosing a residential B&B vs a standard hotel. But after my husband and I discussed things, we sensed Gary may have recently encountered some difficult people that caused him to guarded with us. After all, this is HIS home and I’m sure his heart is simply to protect his family and property. Once we came to that conclusion and decided to “start over” things were absolutely wonderful! We WILL stay here again and already recommended this B&B to friends of ours who frequent Lancaster often.

The cottage/barn had a fireplace and whirlpool tub. It is very roomy,but also nice and cozy. Perfect for a romantic getaway. Breakfast was delivered each morning and was delicious. The stay was a surprise birthday getaway for my girlfriend. She loved it and didn't want to leave, neither did I. I look forward to coming back in the future. Not a thing.
