Springhill Suites by Marriott Charleston Mount Pleasant

I reserved a room with two queen beds but at checkin was issued a king. I was traveling with another female so I requested to be moved to a room that was selected, but told none available. He tried to say third party res to French had similar results. And that I had reserved that room. So I was stuck with a room I had not selected.

The breakfast buffet is its strongest point with variety of choices to start the day with unlimited coffee all day. 👍👍👍👍👍

Was offered to move elsewhere in the hotel but I did not want to risk getting a room as bad and completely ruin our vacation in Charleston. Took our stuff and left for another hotel.

Very clean large rooms. Hotel was quiet and very close to Charleston. Plenty of stores and restaurants in the area. Great location if you’re visiting Charleston. Less than 10 minutes from downtown. Food was good for a complimentary breakfast. Staff friendly. All around good experience!

The location was great, easily accessible to downtown Charleston and surrounding points of interest, Patriots Point, Sullivan's Island and Isle of Palms. We also enjoyed the close proximity to grocery stores and restaurants. The staff was extremely helpful when we had issues with our room, relocating us quickly amd working with us to refund a night on our stay. Breakfast was was well staffed, clean, and had a wide variety of offerings that changed daily. We would stay at this property again.

I would like to note that we have several kids in travel sports so we are constantly booking hotels and this experience was a first. First we had to pay for parking daily to park at their own facilities. Second, the breakfast was unreadable. It was an expense we were hoping to save on but that wasnt the craziest, food is hit or miss. The thing that made us absolutely stunned was that we had an emergency at home and had to leave a night early. The front desk clerk said if we left it would we'd ve charges $237 for a hotel Saturday i already in full before we even arrived. The pool was also really dirty. Would not stay there again.

Very convenient to bridge to Charleston. Clean and comfortable. Friendly staff. Our go-to place to stay when we come into town.
