Hotel Aria

This no frills hotel had a very comfortable bed and a great bathroom and shower. It is a 12 minute walk from all the great restaurants and happenings on Cascal St which made it a great home base for our trip. Would definitely stay here again.

Location in MTV is excellent.This place is gradually being updated. Bathrooms now are clean and nice. Madrases were being replaced right before our stay. Bad Luxury clothes (non-logo) were stolen from my room. I raised this with the manager and pointed out they must have cameras and that I will address this in the morning. Next day I had a full day of business meetings. When I got back to the room the clothes were back but no excuse or explanation from the hotel manager. AC in breakfast room was on 65 and when I dialed it up to 72 to stop shivering the manager came in, dialed it down again and left without a word. Bizarre This brings us to the general topic. The manager is VERY inhospitable in general. Even when something was stolen she didn’t even care to apologize. Why they didn’t replace the smelly carpets while they were at it with the bathrooms and beds is beyond me….

Nice location, close to Castro; good food and coffee shops within walking distance. Would recommend staying again.

A bit too noisy at night due to the traffic on the main road.

It is clean nice hotel. But the parking is limited.

When myfamily stopped by for a quick moment to confir with us the mgr told them they couldnt be there for any reason...they were exactly 10 min till departing and again told my grandson in law that he was not to be there even tho my granddaughter was with him but it made no difference. I will never stay there again and will let every one I know to never stay there.. Even with asking for another towel, I was told they had to conserve on water and was not allowd to have an extra one.. What a deal that was and the Mgr also watches like a hawk every move we made...

The room was exceptionally clean and the furnishings very comfortable. I especially appreciated the wraparound blackout curtain because I need it really dark to be able to sleep well. Breakfast was basic, but adequate (muffins, toast, cereal, coffee, juice). I would definitely stay here again, especially for the price and convenient location.

Property is clean and well maintained. Seems like furnishings are still fairly new. Rooms were clean. Beds were on the soft side. The rooms are motel style but in the room it did not present as such. Road noise was non existent for me but I was located towards the back. They have limited front desk hours and so limited check in hours, while didn’t affect me may affect travelers checking in later. I think they do allow late checking but apparently you must notify them ahead. Would I stay again: Yes.

The bed is incredibly comfortable! Great shower as well, and easy check-in process. Like the added touch of being able to get into the room from my phone. N/A
