Homewood Suites by Hilton Munster

Location is excellent, near everything and easy to get around.

Staff were excellent and breakfast was good too. Our room wasn’t the cleanest, especially the bathroom which had some gross hairs on the toilet and behind the bathroom door. The light in the shower was very dim and the light by the bathroom sink was constantly flickering. Our carpet in the room was coming loose and our fan made some weird noises. The hotel’s itself is in need of some updating. Location was good and the parking lot was well lit. Not sure we’d stay again unless it’s renovated.

My let out springs on the couch were exposed and sticking my spine. The head was much lower than the feet. I called and went to the desk they said, we know and there's nothing we can do. The carpet between the bedroom and the bathroom was unraveled I trip I did not fall but it is lifted on calls for. The bathroom had not been cleaned properly it was dirt on the sink and the tissue box was so filled with dust and Prince it was ridiculous. The bears were okay but not the best. The workers kept telling me they know the beds are bad they know the springs were exposed there's nothing they could do because they're scheduled for a remodel in the meantime my family and I were suffering. The breakfast was decent and that's about it that's what I can say thank you.

This was a nice affordable hotel, but looks slightly swanky. We always appreciate a place that offers hot breakfast options in addition to regular dry options (eggs, meats, waffles, hot oatmeal in addition to cereals, bagels, etc). I'm sure every room differs, but it was a nice surprise to see a stove and bigger fridge in our suite- we did not know that prior. There was a little staining on the carpet (looked like grape juice), but the rooms looked clean and I read reviews before booking- this hotel had the most positive clean reviews of the options for our price point (under 250 a night). The pool and hot tub were good-overall, we are pleased. Plan to stay again next time we're around.

I love going to Homewood Suites but this visit in Monster, was very disappointing. The room wasn’t clean and they definitely need to swap out furniture

Pool area was extremely warm, but my kids enjoyed the pool nonetheless.

Very clean, quiet, staff was very nice and made everything easy. Rooms were very open and had everything you needed. Comfortable couch with hide a bed was perfect. Breakfast was hot and fresh. Had every option for food. Definitely will stay again over any other hotel in the area! Really great first impression and experience! I highly recommend this hotel!

We loved everything about our little stay’

I had a comfortable and pleasant stay, I appreciate the peace and quiet. I enjoyed the breakfast that we received during our stay. The Staff was very friendly and helpful. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

The customer service was second to none, especially a young lady by the name of Tree! She made myself and my family feel so welcomed that we would be foolish never to go back just to visit her

The staff was very nice and the hotel is very clean. The breakfast was not very good, but the kitchen help was very nice. I wanted hot water for my morning tea, the hotel breakfast area water Despenser was always lukewarm. The hotel elevator needs to be maintained better. I found it scary to ride. It took a while to settle onto each floor and it took a while for the elevator doors to open.

Pros: The rooms are large, the towels are fluffy, the staff is friendly, and the breakfast is what you expect from hotels in this class. Cons: The property is showing its age. The entrance, decorated in cream and burgundy, is attractive—especially when arriving at night. During the day, flaws become visible. We arrived to our room and immediately noticed the high touch surfaces were dirty. One of our lampshades was stained and coming apart, and splatter stains were evident on the wall near the base of the toilet. The kitchen was well equipped, but the cabinets were sticky with residue and finger prints. Be careful getting in and out of the tub, the bottom is slick and slippery. Finally, many of the furnishings are cream. They were beautiful at some time, but are now badly stained.

A trash bad was left by my door full of trash. Then the soap dispenser had screws attached to it like it was previously

Real nice pwt friendly hotel. Staff is kind and goes above and beyond. Thw room is big and comfortable.

Easy parking Staff nice

Our suite room was spacious and beautiful. My kiddo said it was the best hotel room we ever stayed in! We only were there for one night on our way home but we all agreed we would make it a point to come back again. The pool and hot tub area were nice and clean and the large complimentary breakfast was a nice bonus.
