Best Western Plus Myrtle Beach @ Intracoastal

It was my birthday trip with family, we had a great time. Location was great for shopping and restaurants. Breakfast was great and staff was very helpful.

One of the main reasons we chose this hotel was because it is pet-friendly, and we were assigned to the designated pet-friendly floor. During our stay, we were informed that there had been multiple complaints about our dog barking while we were away. We were told that if the barking continued, we would have to take our dog with us whenever we left the hotel. While we understand the need to address noise complaints, there were several other dogs barking on the floor as well. That day, there was also constant foot traffic and loud hallway noise, which can easily cause dogs to bark. We felt that we were being singled out rather than the situation being handled fairly. To make matters worse, the front desk employee, Kelly, was dismissive and rude when I tried to discuss my concerns. Good customer service can make a difficult situation much easier to resolve, but that was not our experience. Overall, we were very disappointed with our stay. Between the poor cleanliness, outdated accommodations, and the way our concerns were handled, I would not recommend this hotel to others.

Everything was great. I enjoyed my stay with two kids. I wouldn't change anything and if I come back to Myrtle Beach I will choose Best Western again!

The property was very clean. The staff was pleasant. The breakfast was good and plentiful. I appreciate the pool and fitness room on site. I was prepared to watch a movie on streaming, but that was not available on the type of television in the room, but it was still a good experience.

Number one place for me to stay!

Nice hotel in a very conveniently located area near the beach, with plenty of dinning options. A little dated, but nice option for the price. Breakfast needs improvement; not too many options for vegetarians. More egg style preparations would be good, as well as cheese options like Home2Suites offers.

The best thing was the breakfast included. Things I didn’t like that the room was really moist. The blankets felt wet all the time and the floors were wet feeling all the time. Once you walk on the floors your white socks instantly get dirty. My wife also got a couple bits when laying in the bed seems to be tick bits. They do allow pets in the rooms so no telling were it came from.

Housekeeping and staff, maintenance. All did a very good job. You’ve always seen them. Cleaning lending a hand to guess going above and beyond. As far as breakfast, this wonderful woman had a heart of gold. She maintained the entire breakfast bar cleaned all the tables restocked, took out the garbage came and asked everybody if there was something that she can get you or give you a help you with each and every day. I’ve seen the lady go get her deliveries from the truck and bring it back in and take it right away and put it away to come back out to help and one morning she stopped bringing in her delivery because someone needed milk and went got milk you the young lady and then finished getting her delivery. She was just amazing, her hospitality and character started your day off well. This is coming from someone who is an executive chef that worked for some major hotels Sitting outside, a young man was sweeping the dirt off of the sidewalk walked up and said good afternoon, sir. How are you? Is there anything I can get you? Would you like a bottle of water? Where do you get that from? It’s called respect, hospitality, professionalism, and people that care about their job and all around them.

Close enough to the beach. Staff was super friendly

I only stayed for 1 night but it was nice. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was clean and it was also very spacious. I'd definitely go again with my family!
