That it wasn’t in the busy part. And Katie at the front desk was awesome! I really don’t have much to say that I didn’t like.

The location was good. It was quiet and we enjoyed it being able to walk to the beach and walk to good locations to eat. The elevators could be updated. They are pretty sketchy and hot. The elevator in the parking garage did not work properly most of the time.

The pools and hot tubs were clean. Access to the beach was easy. The property was clean and had lovely flowers to accent the scenery. Access to restaurants and attractions was easy, although that is the way it is in most of Myrtle Beach. Had a few spots to park right beside the building, although not all of them were owned by the property. 4 of the spots were metered by the city. Was not informed of this when we checked in. Parked in one overnight and received a parking ticket. The hotel took care of the issue (I hope), and we were wiser from then on. Didn’t like the ticket but did like the hotel taking care of it. Had two beds and the one we did not sleep in had sheets that appeared to be blood stained. Did not discover this until the last day. The stain was up on top and visible with the way the bed was made. Don’t know why we didn’t see this earlier. The refrigerator had pieces for some of the “racking” broken, so some of the storage space was useless.

The pool area No hot water. Treated you like you was 12. Locked all gates to beach access and stairs to rooms. Could only use elevator after 11 pm. Housekeeping never had trash bags when ask for one. Call to get blankets 2. Went to front desk to get them and was told they would bring them up. After another 60 minutes called front desk and was told we could come to front desk and get them. Blonde girl at front desk at check in was rude and acted like she hated her job. Then went back to front desk to ask a question about parking again and answer with attitude. Will never stay there again.

I really enjoyed the pools a show there were different options to choose from. I also liked how close to the beach the locations were. I didn’t like that the pictures did not match the rooms at all! There was a roach climbing our wall. The hallways smelled so bad. You can tell the building is very old.

I did enjoy the pool area and the tiki bar outside. We were provided dish soap but no sponges to clean dishes. The pans provided were awful and easily burnt and food stuck on easily. We also did not have many utensils. We did ask for a spatula and were told it would be brought to us and never was.

The location of the room was perfect, I would pick this hotel and room over and over again just for its location. The room was advertised as a double queen, but the beds were only full sized. The actual walls themselves were coming apart in some corners and the paint was peeling. The hallway smelled like mold/mildew and the elevator messed up a couple of times. I believe this building is the older one on the property.
