Sun Fun Motel

We had a very pleasant stay at Sun Fun! The staff were friendly and welcoming. It’s clearly been renovated with nice new furniture and the bathroom looked brand new. Everything was clean and it looked like the staff was available all day on the property. We felt very safe staying here and would definitely come back in the future!

En lo personal me gusto mucho, la habitación limpia, ubicación excelente (2 minutos caminando a la playa y 5 minutos a los sitios mas turísticos). Lo unico que me incomodo un poco fue que nos iriamos a las 6 de la mañana porque viajariamos 6 horas y no pudimos hacerlo porque la oficina abrio hasta las 8:30am y debiamos esperar para retirar el deposito de 100$ entregado al llegar (debian revisar la habitación). Creo que en un hotel deberia haber personal en recepción 24/7.

Property was as pictured. Room was clean, smelled clean. Very accommodating. Central location to all needs. Pool was warm. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

The laminate floors were nice and easier to clean than carpet; however, the staff do not clean your room during your stay or provide you with cleaning supplies to do so yourself. The floors continued to make our feet dirty despite buying and using a mop daily. The filter on the refrigerator needed changed, so the ice machine did not work. The hot water in the kitchen worked well, but the shower would only get room temperature and no way to adjust the temp. It was way too cold to take a comfortable shower for me and my family. I like that they have a full stove/oven but there were only a couple stove top pots provided and no baking sheets or cooking/eating utensils.

Can use an iron for our clothes and a comforter … ac are super cold (not complaining) other then everything else was 10/10

The property is old and could use some tlc, but a lot of the places around that area are older. I have stayed in places that were twice the price with some of the same issues, so it was cool.

I’m glad I stayed here. The room was perfect size and kitchen was key for me to to cook meals. Motel location is great, there are several restaurants and stores within walking distance, also walking distance to boardwalk with Ferris wheel and other rides. Beach is less than 5 minute walk. During my stay, Kadejia, Ottevia, and Jordon were friendly and helpful. I enjoyed talking with them. They gave great advice about places to go and things to do nearby. We talked about other things as well. Staying alone can be lonely so it was nice to have new friends to talk with when they weren’t too busy cleaning and managing the property. If you are a fancy person and only like staying at costly luxurious places, then this motel may not be for you. If you’re staying a long time so you’re on a tighter budget and if you’re not too picky, try it out. Like I mentioned, this isn’t a luxurious motel, the stove has rust marks but cosmetics don’t matter to me so long as it works and it does. Baseboards and bathroom door frame have some cracks, but again, cosmetics doesn’t bother me so it’s not an issue. These are improvements that could be made by a repair person. Kadejia, Ottevia, and Jordon do the best they can to make everything look clean and good. Thank you for my stay. Hope to come back in future.

The beds were nice. Stove was dirty, just tried to boil water for dinner and the alarm kept going off. Walls were also dirty.

when we first got there it was not what we thought it was , Way smaller , broken wooded piece under the sink , water was not hot at all they charged us 40$ for 2 or 3 towels that were so called “stained” when all they needed to be was washed because they we’re on the floor you have a 100$ deposit when you get there and they are taking the 40$ out the deposit overall the staff there are rude they don’t know how to properly communicate as staff .

Wanted to check in early they wanted cash money, I left.

Water did not work at all in our room. Went to front desk to change rooms, nobody was there and called the front desk, no one answered. Location was not very safe and did not have any sort of noise ordinance.

Helpful in every way we needed

It was convent, financially and location. The extra bed was in the kitchen area but wasn’t an inconvenience because we didn’t cook.

The receptionist was very kind and made sure we had the best of everything possible. Whoever is looking for exceptional service must come here. We had to leave Anchor Hotel ( another hotel down the road ) due to severe uncleanness. But Sun fun hotel lived up to our expectations massively. It was SO clean. Shower was really big and clean also. We were not bothered. I didn't like the hot water pressure in the shower. Other than that, I have no other complaints!

This place needs to be condemned, is not safe to stay for anybody. Not sure how it got anything above 1 star. Tried cancelling reservation but they are not agreeing, so beware. Photos online are not what this place is.

Couldn’t sleep in the room first night due to dead water bugs in the room . Got switched to an upstairs room 2 night there .
