Dayton House Resort, BW Signature Collection

Rooms are dated, not at all what the pictures show. The pictures must have been taken when it first opened. The parking is awful so tiny spaces that once you park you cannot move your car because you may not find a spot to come back to and if you have a truck forget parking no spaces available. The property is in great need of upgrading. I will say our room was clean but the rugs in room are not something I would walk in bare feet. The air conditioning was awful and in need of sever upgrades. I will not stay there again.

The pictures online are DECEIVING! Don't be fooled. The property is extremely dated, a logistical nightmare, and definitely not worth the money we spent for a 4th of July weekend. The ongoing construction happening between buildings visually fits well with the rest of the hotel aesthetic, if that's any indication. They should be ashamed to call themselves a "resort" in any capacity. The idea that one has to walk across the street and through a parking lot to get their included breakfast buffet is absurd, especially when considering elderly or mobility impaired guests, which guess what? We had an elderly, mobility impaired relative in our party. The parking deck is VERY tight and limited (would not fit a standard sized pickup truck) and really tests your driving and parking skills. The check in lobby is about the size of a closet, which left a long line of us spilling out onto the sidewalk in the blazing sun to check in. The rooms themselves were relatively decent and clean, and about the typical look and feel of a lot of oceanfront condos/hotels in the area. However, the best you can get out of housekeeping are fresh towels and emptied trash. Absolutely no cleaning or making of beds, but the nerve to advertise "a new way to tip" via a QR code...get TF outta here! By the time we left, we were greeted by pest control knocking on doors to spray for bugs... so, yeah. Safe to say we will not be returning.

Breakfast did not look appetizing so we ate elsewhere, the fitness room was very dirty, there was a smell in the hallway and lobby area. Pictures online definitely were deceiving. It was nice having the ocean right there to just walk out onto.

I dint like that you have to cross the street to eat breakfast and the parking are across the street also, long wait the check in but beside that everything was fine

The hotel was fine the beach behind the hotel was awesome, I don’t like that the restaurant where they serve breakfast was across the street, the parking are also across the street, the staff is ok, and a long wait to get the room I didn’t like tha either, the hotel location is very covinient i have to say that

The hotel needs a complete remodel. The elevator is very old. The wood around the latch on the room door was broken. The pool water was either dirty or the filter needs to be replaced. I paid for one night ($380), and that was entirely too much for the condition of the hotel.

My children had an excellent time.

West building needs a renovation. Its out dated. Breakfast was good. The pools and bar was really nice. The overall resort is a 3/5.

Extremely kind staff. Clean room. Great breakfast. Great pool. We came with a 4 year old, 2 year old and 9 month old and they had a GREAT time! We’d definitely return!

Everything was great, kids had a great time. Suite was big and comfortable. Location was perfect.

Great place

The front desk staff were very pleasant and the pools and lounge area well maintained. There was really no noise disruptions from the beach work. However, the second day of our stay, there was loud drilling and banging noises from above our room from about 10am to 4pm - so much for taking a nap before dinner or just chilling in the room… I inquired at the front desk, and they advised that guest room renovations were happening… again, this should have been identified in the listing. It probably would have influenced my decision to book this property. All in all, it’s a centrally-located property within walking distance of restaurants and activities and the staff were all very pleasant.
