Carolinian Beach Resort

Other than the elevator in the parking garage breaking (if you park on the top levels you have to walk down 4-5 flights), it was quiet & clean with great views and close to attractions yet quiet enough to enjoy the beach. The free breakfast and parking across the street is a bonus feature compared to other places in the area. Staff was friendly and helpful always. There were no lines or wait times. Boardwalk and fireworks plus ferris wheel were lovely. Area was clean and safe with law enforcement actively keeping things running smoothly and being visible. Everyone was friendly. We even added on a day to our stay via Expedia and didnt have to move rooms. The Awakenings spa next door was also great for a Mother Daughter morning. The balcony did sometimes smell like pot smoke and Id have to close the door. Bring your own chairs and umbrella or the staff on beach will charge you to rent and take the beach chairs in front of the resort on beach out from under you. The pool, hot tub and lazy river werent very big and looked a but overused compared to the size of the resort-like hotel if you prefer such amenities but the ocean was beautiful so we never went in the other features. We would return! Overall, a great place & experience that was well run. .

On the Beach with great views. Property is older but very well maintained. Staff was excellent and very helpful. Breakfast at nearby Magnolias was good and tasty. Room was clean and comfortable with a balcony view of the Ocean.

The hotel was nice and well maintained. I would definitely go back there again.

I highly recommend staying here, Hotels.com did not mention. Parking is almost across the street. It’s almost a block away. Also, the morning breakfast buffet is almost a block away as well. With that being said, I would still highly recommend to stay right on the beach, walking two minutes to the ocean clean room no bugs. Did not have an ocean view. I picked it on purpose. The balcony was very nice there were chairs in a table. The mini fridge had a lot of space, the microwave heated food very quickly.

Our stay was very pleasant, we were pleased and my grandson had a ball. Our check-in was quick and the staff was very nice. Our room was clean, no bugs in sight, the lobby always had a pleasant clean smell. The breakfast tickets & attraction tickets were a plus our whole stay there. There was construction going on the beach near the hotel, that was my only issue for our stay, l know the hotel doesn't have control over that. Construction should go on during the off season, most people go for relaxation, and to get away from the noise. But over all we were very happy. Thanks to all the staff at the Carolinian. 😎

The staff were helpful and friendly. The pools were well maintained. The room we had requested was great. The view of the ocean was fantastic. The bed was so comfortable! We were given credits to an all you can eat breakfast buffet. It was really delicious food and friendly staff.

The rooms were fairly clean I did notice an issue with one of the pillows. However the bathroom and the rooms were cleaned. The ice machine in our building was not working so therefore you had to use a code and go into the next building on the second floor which was extremely hot apparently the air conditioning went out. It was difficult to contact a hotel staff member. I discovered that housekeeping services were not provided during my stay. While I am glad my stay was brief, I would not choose this hotel again.

I really enjoyed this place easiest check in process and we had just 2 wash clothes at first but they immediately brought some up I loved location and the grandkids really enjoyed it definitely recommend

It was a decent stay it could have been a little more cleaner in some areas and modernized

View from room was as described. Location of hotel is great near a lot of things . Breakfast was great each morning . Enjoyed lawn chairs on property looking at the beach view. Hot tub was the best .

Our room was clean. The building was older but in good shape. The DVD player in our room did not work. Overall okay stay.

Great place I had a front ocean room with balcony, breakfast is included in a restaurant 1 block away name Magnolia they have buffet breakfast just bring the tickets provided by the hotel, the staff from the restaurant are very friendly as well from the hotel.
