I will be honest and start out by saying the first day was not great. The first unit we were in was horrible. The beds were like cement. It was dark and dreary and honestly we were going somewhere else if they did not move us. After one really sleepless night my husband went down and spoke with them and they moved us to another unit. This one was bright and cheery and the beds were much, much better. You could see the ocean from the balcony and it was clean and had a nice kitchen. There were dishes and pots and pans and a coffeemaker. That is why I am giving them and excellent. They made it right when there was a problem.

Self parking that’s free is a block away, the garage covering was super tight, no beach access from pool area after 10pm. I literally saw them lock the gates. The property could use a good pressure washing to say the least. Not horrible but man I was expecting a whole lot better from this chain.

Very clean and everything worked!

Our room did not have a curtain to block the outside walkway lights from shining voluminous light into the bedroom. The blinds were insufficient for this purpose.

The room was very dated and had a musty odor. The shower did not drain and the office staff said someone would fix it the next day, but the issue was never fixed. The pools were nice and clean and the hotel had easy access to the beach.

We had a great stay at this property! The view was perfect, and my kids loved the pools! The kitchen was stocked nicely and we were able to cook anything we wanted. The room was very comfortable and we had plenty of room. We will definitely stay again!

Great stay, very clean. Wonderful staff. Obviously an older property. Door to the bathroom hit the toilet and no soap provided.

OMG so much better than Monterey bay suits! Building was in better shape, well maintained. Looks just like the pictures. Plenty of parking. Easy to get in and out of the hotel and easy to get to your room. Working elevators, never had to wait long. Staff was friendly and always greeted you as you entered or leaving. Their restaurant was relaxed bar type atmosphere on for children. Great menu- prices were even better!! So close to Starbucks around the corner. Went shopping at local grocery store 1 mile away. East Access to beach. AC did have a hard time keeping the room cold. Kitchen amenities were great!! We made breakfast daily. Wish the room had better looking esthetics as it looked more like an apartment than a beach hotel, needs better sea colors with shells etc. absolutely loved it. Will definitely go there again. No breakfast Buffett but again it offered a well stock kitchen with grocery store a mile down the road.

Cons- our rooms televisions didn’t work, the toilet had constant problems every time you flushed it. The staff was very helpful but the property owners need to do a little bit better job. The only other con would be the on site restaurant service was pretty poor. Waited at the bar for service and no one ever came. Loss of a sale. It was our first time and really didn’t know all the ropes. Like where to take your trash but the staff was very helpful! Overall it was great!!

Only issue was cleaners forgot last tenant bathing suits on back of door but other then that great helpful staff and nice pools right on the beach

Our room was spacious with a balcony and a view of the ocean and the outdoor pool, which was immaculately clean. The hotel is in an excellent location, off the main road but still close to everything.

The staff was really nice, but I will not be returning. The hotel is dated. It need to be updated and I rented a oceanfront view and I got a partial oceanfront view with a pool view..

It was perfect. The kitchen was very functional and well equipped. The location was excellent, close to everything while still being very quiet. The beach was easy to access, very clean, and free of seaweed.

Unit was dirty. Floors were sticky. AC units did not help with humidity. We were sweating while we slept. Paper towels and toilet paper (after the first small roll) were not supplied. Parking was inadequate for the number of guests. All of the mattresses were worn out. The towels were worn out. Refrigerator was rusty around the edges. No dishwasher in unit. Dishes in cabinets were not clean. Yuck.

The good part about the hotel is the location. You can get a beach view for a decent price. The pool is nice and maintained well and the walk to the beach takes about 15 seconds. The main issue we had was the lack of cleanliness in the room itself. The fan in the bedroom was warped from the humidity and covered in thick dust. The bathroom smelled like old urine, the wallpaper was peeling off the wall, and the shower didn’t really drain. It took about 25-30 minutes after each shower for it to clear out. The refrigerator had seen much better days as well. Some of the lamps in the room didn’t work and there was already sand in the bedroom when we checked in. I generally refuse to write anything negative about a place but they need to update some items and make sure things are clean and working for guests. I will stay somewhere else next time. I do want to say the staff I talked to while I was there were nice as well.

We were on the 6th floor fortunately high enough to where we could see around the buildings in front of our building that we were told was oceanfront. The lazy river and pool were nice and it is easy access to the beach. We utilized John’s to rent chairs and umbrellas on the beach. The room was in good condition. The internet connection was not the fastest. Dealt with buffering when trying to stream on Netflix through the tv. The beds we had were not that comfortable and were broken down. We stayed in a 2 bedroom condo, if you plan to utilize the kitchen, dish washer and washer/dryer. There was no dish soap, sponge, dish washer tabs, detergent or paper towels provided. We washed towels on the daily so we had clean ones. The showers in the room did have really good water pressure and plenty of hot water.

Family of 4, first time staying at this property. We had an amazing time and thought this place was amazing. We stayed in one of the properties condos and we were very pleased. Full kitchen, laundry and two bedrooms, older room but everything worked and it was great. Right on the beach, huge pool, lazy river pool and we felt safe and at home. Will definitely stay again in the future. Glad to have found this resort.

It is common in Myrtle beach to check in one spot and drive to another place you will be staying. A little annoying, but when in Rome... It was very humid in the room when we arrived. The air conditioner had mold growing on the vent, so there was a mildew smell. We left the fan running throughout our trip, which helped the humidity, but not the smell in the room. Only one roll of toilet paper which ran out our 2nd day. Pull out bed mattress was not clean so slept on the cushions. Noticed it was not swept/clean under table and dresser. The site is beginning to show its age. Staff work to keep it clean which is nice. Friendly staff.
