LaPlaya Beach & Golf Resort - A Noble House Resort

The resort is under construction and what would have been a beautiful, peaceful beach experience was marred by the noise. Unsettling and disturbing would describe the feeling of laying out in lounge chairs at the beach. When I went to rent a paddle board I was told that the beach rental company, located on the beach at LaPlaya, had lost their contract with LaPlaya consequently they were not allowed to rent equipment to hotel customers. Although the hotel has a restaurant there is no dinning or shopping choices within walking distance. A car is a must. There are lots of choices off highway 41, several miles from the hotel. It wasn’t clear when I booked the hotel that a “Bay View” was not in the main building and was located across the street. Despite umbrellas being readily available, if it’s pouring rain, which it often does, you will get wet crossing the street. The hotel room was very quiet. It might have something to do with being located across the street from the construction. The bell service and housekeeping were exceptional. My room was impeccably cleaned each of the 6 days I spent at LaPlaya. There are 4 pools at the hotel. It would have been nice if at least one of them were adult only, screaming, crying children are not my thing. Our balcony was a shared public space. The hotel only offers valet parking at $44 dollars plus tax per day. I believe once the construction is completed the LaPlaya would be a more satisfying vacation.

They wouldn’t seat us at their restaurant for dinner. You would think gusts got some sort of priority for dining.

The room was clean, the beach view was great, the amenities were good! The front desk lady that checked us in on the arrival was not very friendly and didn’t smile and was not very familiar how to respond and react properly to our request but the day shift manager when we arrived and the night shift manager was more professional !

With rooms averaging around $800 per night, I expected a more updated and luxurious experience throughout the property. In particular, the bathrooms feel dated and are in need of renovation to match the price point and the level of luxury the hotel promotes. Another disappointing detail is that even the bottled water provided in the room comes with a charge of $9 per bottle. At this price point, I would expect basic amenities like bottled water to be complimentary. The location, beach, and overall setting are definitely highlights, and the hotel is nice, but for this price range, I believe certain areas of the property should be more modern and some basic amenities should be included. Overall, it was a good stay, just not quite the value I expected for the cost.

Our room was oceanfront and very nice. Great amenities. However, water leaked onto floor from shower door when using and had to use towels to mop up. Pool and beach staff was helpful and attentive. Got to see some beautiful sunsets from room balcony. If want to be within walking distance of shops and restaurants in Naples, the LaPlaya Resort is probably not your choice. It is in North Naples and thus you need a car or use Uber to reach the downtown area. On the other hand, it is in a perfect location if looking for a quiet and relaxing vacation.

The hotel was satisfactory. The rooms were clean but a little dated. The pool wasn't the resort-style pool you might expect. The beach is fantastic, and the staff there were amazing. All in all a good vacation!

So nice to have beach chair and umbrellas available during the stay. Beautiful location with great sunsets!

Overall I would rate it top notch , only recommendation would be to have kept pool or Jacuzzi hours open till later not closed at sunset hours .. Exceptional hotel with level of service second to none !

We liked everything but our room had no cold water. The technician came to fix it but he couldn’t. The faucet started out cold but got extremely hot.

LaPlaya is always our go-to resort when we want Guld front. Staff is excellent and the property is gorgeous.

The place us super nice! Many amenities and staff very accomodating. Our sink was clogged and they didnt hesitate ti move us to another room.

The people made it exceptional. Our housekeeper and server for our dinner at were incredibe.

There are many hidden charges you only discover when checking out; the location is perfect, but the price is too high for what is offered. Anything you eat is extremely expensive, and the drinks are poor quality. Honestly, I won't stay at this hotel again—a total disappointment.
