Very nice and clean rooms

This property was sooooo amazing and clean and quiet. Such beautiful rooms and comfortable beds and linens. No funky ‘hotel’ smells, and sooooo clean! The bathroom was soooo pretty!

We stayed there for 5 nights total and had a great time! The pool was so much fun! I loved the main house and bar area. Our room was nice, clean and comfortable. I was really surprised that they had such a big dog park. I just wish the grass was cut a little shorter and the poop container needed to be emptied. All and all it was a great time and I would love to stay there again.

Cool vibes. They had a DJ at the pool during the day. It was nice and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Clean room, awesome staff.

We stayed for 3 days - the decor and vibe is great. However, they are understaffed at the bar / food service. The housekeeping service didn't show up one day and when we had to go to the night attendant for towels, she became annoyed that she had to get them. The checkin / out is very informal / confusing and the resort has minimal amenities. Great place to sleep, but not to "stay".

A staff member was extremely rude to me and made the entire experience a nightmare

We stayed at the location for 5 nights, and loved it so much. We did have our kids and dog with us and found that they enjoyed the stayed too. The pool was great to have especially since we stayed during some of the hottest day. As some other folks have mentioned, a bigger fridge and a microwave would’ve been lovely since there’s not many close food places and we had leftover we had to throw out since they didn’t fit in fridge or weren’t able to reheat. The dog park was great amenity and our pup loved sniffing the place out. Would recommend adding a bench and some shades to encourage folks to spend a bit more time there. The cleaning folks were amazing and left the room spotless every time. I would say, the place def leans a bit more to adults which is understandable. Def would recommend to other folks! Over all, great stay!

I didn’t say anything because it wasn’t that serious but found it hilarious that he advised me to do that. The place overall is nice and clean. Very sketchy on arrival, giving motel vibes but I would stay again.

Also, the management had already loaned out all of their irons to other guests so they literally ordered one from Walmart and had it delivered in less than 30 minutes which really saved the day for me! They were very helpful and accomodating.

The staff was very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. The architecture and interior design of the main house was absolutely stunning. Parking was pretty easy as well.

The staff was very courteous There were large ants in my room, blanket at end of bed was dirty and the refrigerator leaked.

The room was excellent. The place is clean and looks newly remodeled and well maintained. Staff was friendly and helpful.

I really wanted to like Salt Ranch. The pictures online looked beautiful and just what I was looking something chic and relaxing. However when we arrived (although after 11pm) the guy simply handed us our key and said someone already checked you in without asking for ID. Other times I asked for water or help with the umbrella I was met with ambivalence and felt like I was bothering him although I was the only patron in sight. I wanted to get breakfast before any early meeting. And although online it said they started serving at 7am I didn’t bother asking for anything because they didn’t seem prepared and seemed short staffed. I overheard one of the staff say he worked 18 hours the day before. Our room seemed bare bones and didn’t have a coffee maker or menu or info on the pool or hotel like you would expect. One night after it rained an awful sewer smell came up through the drains in the bathroom. I think this place has potential but needs to hire more welcoming staff to make this an enjoyable stay.

The central office/ bar is beautiful and tasteful! The pool area looked great, but we didn't take time to use it. The rooms are... blah. It is an old motel that has been updated. The work by the contractors is hit or miss. The sink had come loose from the wall in our bathroom. The bathroom has no ventilation, therefore no conditioned air comes in the restroom. The latch for the bathroom door was hard to use. It is a sliding door and the catch for the latch was not installed matching to the door. You had to pull on the bottom of the door for it to latch. Also, the bottom of the entrance door had a good sized gap. Plenty enough for critters to enter and dirt to be blown into the room. So it was a tale of two cities... great looking bar and pool but subpar rooms.
