Clean room & comfortable bed!

I stayed just one night so I didn't get to appreciate the whole space but Salt Ranch is a really lovely destination. The staff was friendly, fun and helpful; the room was clean, comfortable and trendy; parking was easy and accessible; there was an overall great energy and the interior design is a vibe.

Great place but the cops in the parking lot lit up our room all night long.

Property is really nice & clean. Ben the Manager was really nice and welcoming. The room was just like the pictures. I would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful place! There staff is so nice and helpful. Everything is brand new and I especially loved the dog park! 10 outta 10 for sure!

Pool access, location, and cost per night are the perks. It’s aesthetic but the website is a bit smoke and mirrors. The rooms are remodeled motel rooms with fewer amenities than a basic hotel: the “mini fridge” was just a can cooler and there’s minimal vanity space in the bathroom. I had to ask for bedside lamp bulbs, the phone didn’t work, and wires were hanging from what should have been a smoke or CO detector. You must go to the main house to get help and one staff ignored me on more than one occasion, which didn’t feel welcoming. A quick, cheap stay is all this is until they work out some of the kinks.

The pictures of the office building were immaculate and had such a unique vibe! Which I felt was true to the pictures posted. The property as a whole (minus the office) and the actual room we stayed in felt like a converted super 8 motel. The room was TINY. No place to hang clothes of any length but a shirt. The “refrigerator” could only hold a 20oz bottle at a diagonal. And the word cool could barely be used to describe the temperature. When we arrived, the bathroom had cut hair all over the sink and in the windowsill. There didn’t seem to be any rules for parking. So if your room is close to the pool, and it is pool season, don’t count on getting to park near your room. This isn’t a knock against the salt ranch but if you’re used to quiet nights, this isn’t the place. There was a lot of street noise. Everytime we had interactions with the staff, they were always kind, helpful, and friendly!

There were a few issues with my stay though: 1) I had to mop my room floor by hand using a washcloth bcuz my feet got dirty instantly as I walked around the room after my shower. This bothered me a bit knowing the place is so dog-friendly. Anyway, housekeeping needs to mop every room. 2) While I appreciated having the tiny electric camping cooler over nothing, the hotel should add small refrigerators to guest rooms and have an ice machine on-site so guests don't have to ask staff for it. The bar could also stock a few bottles of flavored schnapps & liquors for wimps like me. 3) I paid for my nights in advance on Hotels.com when booking, but the hotel charged me $436 for the same 3 nights after checkout. I addressed the matter of incorrect charges with Anthony and was assured that the issue would be corrected... but it's now 3 days later and my bank acct shows neither a charge reversal nor 'pending credit'. Not everyone can afford this type of costly inconvenience. While nice, the stay certainly wasn't worth the $900 double billing.

What a well designed re-do of an old motel! Aesthetically, Salt Ranch Hotel is excellent-the room was so nice! The staff were kind, helpful, friendly, and attentive. The location was convenient to East Nashville and all its great eateries! If you are looking for something with a quiet vibe...this isn't it. With the pool and social atmosphere, it is hopping--but even with all the activity, the room was surprisingly quiet. They don't have the usual in room amenities (hair dryer, coffee pot) but there is coffee available in the main building at the bar. There was a lot of natural light in the room so if you need complete darkness to sleep...a sleep mask would be helpful! Overall, it was a positive experience and I would choose to stay there if I were to visit Nashville again!

The property was WONDERFUL! Luxury chic Motel style! Great Hospitality from Staff! Pool was lovely! Coffee/Bar/breakfast/meals etc on site available for purchase. Tiny,tiny Minnie fridge in room, no coffee machine tho unfortunately. Seriously couldn’t have asked for a better stay. We didn’t get to enjoy the pool bc of a storm on our full day, but they allow access to the pool before/after your stay day of arrival/or departure which was super awesome bc we checked out and hung out by the pool before leaving for the day! Highly recommend! Super cool place! Slightly bigger minnie fridge would’ve been cool, and a coffee pot or something. Just the norm for a stay I feel in most places but def thankful for what the room had!

This property was sooooo amazing and clean and quiet. Such beautiful rooms and comfortable beds and linens. No funky ‘hotel’ smells, and sooooo clean! The bathroom was soooo pretty!

We stayed there for 5 nights total and had a great time! The pool was so much fun! I loved the main house and bar area. Our room was nice, clean and comfortable. I was really surprised that they had such a big dog park. I just wish the grass was cut a little shorter and the poop container needed to be emptied. All and all it was a great time and I would love to stay there again.
