The Iris Motel

It was simple & clean. The location was amazing. You have to go to the Pfunky griddle if you stay here. Also, if you need to talk to anyone or have an issue, the customer service is super easy to get a hold of and and they’re very kind This place is perfect for young adults, couples or a girls weekend. Probably not the best idea for family. I knew that going in there was no pool or free breakfast, but I should’ve probably chose to see somewhere because for the price we could’ve gotten those things, but that’s on me not on them. This place is everything that they advertise it to be. Clean, comfortable simple stay.

Convenient location. Rooms was clean. Parking easy. TV didn't work, so after 2 nights, they gave us a different, smaller room. Furniture was like elementary school cubbies. There was a nice painting on the wall. We'd booked for 3 nights. We understood that there would be no housekeeping services during our stay, however, the room initially had enough amenities for one night. We had to request more. Staff was responsive (no one on site -- contact was via phone/text} and tried to help. We shouldn't have needed to request basics.

Location, atmosphere and cleanliness

The location of the property was really convenient for us. Overall, it was okay. We did have to make a run and purchase our own pillows and blankets 😅 the ones provided were not very comfortable. Also, no microwave either in the room.

Convenient location and I didn't have to check in with a receptionist. I was given a second floor room and it was hard for my sick husband to navigate. I would like to stay again, on the first floor.

I would not have wanted to pay more than we did. Behind the plywood headboards was open, full of dust, with visible wires and electrical work. Junction boxes are on thing; I should not see wire nuts. The plywood platform bed was dirty. The turquoise patio chair near our room was broken. The GFCI outlet nearest the coffee maker seemed to be tripped and wouldn’t toggle—but we were able to use a different outlet.

Easy check in clean rooms and the automated messages made it so much more enjoyable in a great part of town. The location of the toilet paper holder.
