One great thing: BREAKFAST in my opinion.
-
The next morning at breakfast I found mold on a couple of the oranges that were being served. The elevator to the fourth floor also appeared unsafe. It made a loud screeching noise and shook every time it stopped on the fourth floor. Because of the cleanliness, maintenance, and customer service issues, I no longer felt comfortable staying at this hotel with my family.

The staff was friendly but housekeeping is severely lacking. We stayed 3 nights and no one ever came to replace our towels, make the beds, empty the trash or vacuum. Yet, they had the audacity to knock on our door a whole hour before checkout time after being M.I.A. the whole weekend. The first time we asked for fresh towels, we were told the policy was that we had to return our dirty towels to the desk in order to get new ones. We did that the 2nd night and a different person said that's not their policy. On day 2 we got back to the room and our keys didn't work because they only programmed them for 1 night instead of 3. Be advised if you have pet allergies this is not the place for you. It is a pet friendly hotel and our room smelled like mildew and wet dog when we arrived. It took quite a bit of Febreze to make it tolerable. I will say the lobby area was clean as well as the breakfast area, and the breakfast offerings were decent except for the rubbery eggs. Another positive is the location was very convenient to all our activities for the weekend. The pool looks like it's been shut down for some time. The cover was disgusting and the area around it looks abandoned and overgrown like they just gave up on it. The desk clerk said they have an arrangement with Hampton Inn next door to let guests use their pool. Unless there are some serious changes, I would not consider staying here again.

Only good thing about the room was the AC. Tub was filthy the toilet ringing around the tub no towels, carpet dirty. Oh don’t forget the smell in the room and dirty trash can.
-
Upon arrival our room was not clean- handprints smeared all over the mirror, DIRTY SOCKS in the chair, toilet paper roll was almost empty, and NO TOWELS. Asked 4 times for towels and at midnight was told they don’t have any to give out. Staff was not helpful. The floor and furniture was just overall nasty and dirty. Pool had a tarp over it and is not in use- which was mentioned no where when booking(disappointing). Upon check out, I asked for a receipt and they told me no, to check on expedia; never been told that before and I always used expedia to book. Overall, VERY upset with this hotel and would not recommend.

The hotel stay was fairly O.K. until I checked my account and they had charged me twice for the room which came to over $1000 in charges that they had charged my bank card. I was in town for a conference and my employer had sent the payment in the form of a check ahead of time as they requested. And even though I had called to verify that they had received payment from my employer they still charged my bank account two times for my stay. The person that I talked to that morning verified that they have received the check and the amount required for my stay. But after I had checked out and looked at my bank statement the hotel had charged me two times for this room. The manager said that they had not received the payment, although it was verified by an employee there prior to my arrival. And yet she still cannot explain why my card was charged two times not once but two times for my stay. So would I recommend this hotel? No. Needless to say I will not be staying there again. Then on top of all that housekeeping was poor because I had to leave a note for the housekeeper to empty my trash and leave some tissue in the bathroom. So this hotel gets a thumbs down from me.

Great service. Clean property. Spacious room. It was perfect for us.

When we checked out, we informed the front desk staff again about the leaking air conditioning unit in the first room. She told us that, because of the leak, the room was not supposed to have been occupied at all. She also mentioned in passing that she would be glad when the remodel began so they would not have “these problems” anymore, which honestly made me wonder what other issues guests are dealing with that we did not see. I do not like leaving negative reviews, but this stay genuinely deserved one. No guest should be placed in a room that staff already knows should be out of service, and visible mold in a replacement room is completely unacceptable.

Breakfast was good but the overall property was not well kept up. The rooms were very dusty and carpets need replacing. AC worked well in one of our rooms but not very well in the other

I would definitely NOT recommend this hotel. Rooms are very outdated and nasty. My room was so filthy and dusty. I asked to be transferred to a different room and it was just the same. Mold in bathroom, shower curtain so disgusting and nasty. Hair on my pillows and just full of dust. I was truly disappointed and I will NOT stay here again. Stay here at your own risk!!!!

There had been a water leak just before we arrived so all staff was appropriately focused on remedying the situation.

We reserved a suit but were given double queens no sofa bed. Breakfast was a hour late due loud upset guests, then we charged an additional $25 for we don’t know why? On top of already paid $230, definitely was not like our usual holiday express stays very unsatisfactory stay

This hotel is showing its age and needs a remodel job. It is hard to make a property in this condition look good and clean. The tf was slow to react if they were even at the front desk in the first place. I had to walk around the desk and yell for someone to address my issue. Breakfast was the same old fake omelets, the orange juice ran out and a new sheet never came after requesting one due to water spillage. The final straw before checking out and moving to a Hampton Inn was the water flow was not even the thickness of a pencil, and the shower did not have enough pressure to work properly. Because we had a carload of luggage and two dogs, the decision to move was difficult. We went ahead and moved o the Hampton Inn next door which made the trip more enjoyable.

Nice place. Staff was good. Breakfast was good. Pool closed. No coffee maker in room. Good location. Overall good

The location was perfect, nets downtown

Didn’t have hot water in my shower it was a stinky smell on the whole 3rd floor

Staff was fantastic. The lobby and other areas were clean however the room was not very clean. The bathroom had hair on the vanity and in the bathtub. The shower curtain had a lot of visible dirt on the bottom of it. Plus one or two lights over the sink were out. There was a lot of furniture polish on the furniture. So much that we had to wipe it down before setting anything on it. Carpet needed additional vacuuming.

Everything was mostly what I expected and enjoy The bed was very firm. Too firm. We didn’t have toilet paper in the room when we arrived. Would be nice to have had a smart TV so we could sign into streaming services. Felt rushed to leave even though we had arranged a late check out
