We had a fantastic stay at this charming historic home; it's like living inside a museum! The house is beautiful, spotless, and in a great, walkable location. Joe was an exceptional host with a wealth of knowledge about the Stone House. His detailed tour about his relatives who once lived here was a highlight, and we thoroughly enjoyed chatting with him. His dog, Precious, only adds to the property's charm. Besides being a fantastic host, Joe is a wonderful cook. Breakfast was exquisite and beautifully served in the formal dining room. The bed was highly comfortable, and we loved the privacy of having our own cottage. If you are visiting Natchez, we highly recommend staying at the Stone House! - Francisca & Jim Nothing!! Everything was exceptional!

The host was exceptional in knowledge of the Stone House and his tour was detailed with history of his relatives that lived in the home. He also grew up in the house and returned home in late 1990’s and has restored the home to its current condition. His breakfast was excellent both days and he entertained us with classical piano music. Very comfortable accommodations. A very enjoyable two days. Nothing.

Breakfast was excellent. We stayed there two nights and both breakfasts were varied and tasty.

A beautiful house, rich in history, with a charming host, who also happens to be a wonderful cook.

The cottage was clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was the best we’ve had!

This is a perfect place to relax. The beds are wonderful. The host goes the extra mile to make you feel welcome. His breakfast was outstanding. The cottage has two porches to relax and have a glass of wine, read a book, or just have a quiet conversation. Any time you are in Natchez, MS. You need to stay at Stone House with your host, Joe Stone.

The breakfast was excellent ?. The host "Joe" was excellent as well. Very polite and courteous. Best B&B we've stayed at. Highly recommended.

Our stay with Joe was wonderful. It is clear that Joe is incredibly passionate about history and ensuring guests have a comfortable and meaningful experience in his space and city. From the delicious, thoughtfully made breakfasts (often eaten with a fluffy dog at our feet - we love Precious!) to the comfortable bedrooms and time to chat to go over things to see and do, this stay completed our trip to lovely Natchez.
-
The host was wonderful and the rooms uniquely wonderful. The charm of Stone House is visible throughout.

The visit was so much more than I could have anticipated. A luxurious stay with exceptional food alongside an historical walk through pre and post civil war era artifacts and stories. The stay was topped off with a classical piano performance. Mr. Stone provides an exceptional experience. I'm definitely visiting again!

The owner was so nice and the property was amazing Nothing

Loved the ambience of the property filled with art and fine, historic furnishings. The breakfast was exquisite and Joe (and his dog, Precious), were most hospitable. We enjoyed the manicured yard and his recommendations for Natchez. It's clear he loves his family property and is committed to keeping it in amazing condition. Our beds were super comfortable and we enjoyed having the privacy of the guest house. Communication through booking.com has been a problem. It would be helpful if the host had our cell phone and email in order to contact us in advance with instructions for checkin.

The breakfast was delicious. Mr. Joe really out did himself. Our room was very clean and cozy and well decorated with old historical charm. Many beautiful paintings. Our little cottage was well decorated with lots of love and care. Mr. Joe's home was gorgeous inside and out. And can't forget little Miss Precious (Mr. Joe's tiny dog), who greeted us at the door when we arrived and greeted us at the door each morning. Her name fits her to a tee. We will be back. Can't think of anything he could have done to make it better. We thoroughly enjoyed out stay.

Mr. Joe was a delight. I was in the area for a friend’s doctoral celebration and decided to book. I’m glad I did. I enjoyed the hospitality and conversations.

The most cutest and personal breakfast ever experienced!

Everything. When you walk up the patios and garden is so inviting. The 2 bedroom cottage is cozy with beautiful antique furniture. The host was happy to show me his family home.
