Once I got the room I had booked and paid for, it was a good size. The manager was helpful and friendly in resolving the problem. On arrival, checked in, went to room and given wrong room. Went back to reception and I was told that I'd been bumped as they were full and I wasn't a Hilton Honours member. I'd booked it 11 months ago and they took my money a day before I arrived and didn't tell me when I'd checked in. I am a Hilton Honours member, but that should not have impacted my booking. I was very assertive but polite, and eventually, they gave me the correct room, which I appreciated. The hotel is tired, the shower area rather grubby as was the sofa. The aircon is very noisy and the hallways didn't look very clean.

The place was clean and all the staff from the front desk to hospitality were very helpful, cordial and inviting. The location of the hotel (on the waterfront) was beautiful.

Excellent location, met all my needs.

Our family members were staying doors down from us and did not have air and the room was not exactly clean when they arrived and were assigned to that room. It was very hot in their room and the staff member. All they said was that they could bring him a fan so the kids did come to our room not real happy about that. The least they could’ve done is given him a different room or gave him money back on their stay otherwise our room was fine.

We had a great stay here! Location is great! As we like old downtown areas, old home districts and parks and water. Hotel very clean overall. A shout out to Beth, who was over the top friendly and helpful! Wonderful place to stay.
