DoubleTree by Hilton Neenah

The lobby was clean and breakfast was great. However at check in my husband was told breakfast was free and then we got a bill. Tbe bed itself was comfortable, however it was clear the bed side table had not been wiped down as there was something sticky on it. The carpet was old and who knew last time it was actually cleaned. The room was old and just gross. The entry door was extremely hard to open and it appeared at one point someone actually had kicked the door to get it open.

Location. The bed was poor, room wasn't clean, most expensive in area, no included breakfast for outrageous price and no available streaming. Offered cable, but no guide or information for use.

Location is great, friendly staff. Unfortunately the property is no clean. The hotel is a little old but the worse part is the lack of good deep cleaning. From the elevator to the room lots of dust, splatters, the tv screen, everything was so dirty. I told the lady at the reception, I hope they do something about it.

The heat didn't work right. And I was surprised that Breakfast was NOT Included as it is in most hotels? I didn't like that.

Pool & hot tub were extremely clean & the temps were comfortable. Sunday buffet was a little lacking for the price. We’ve had the same or better breakfasts at motels where it’s part of the room cost. Motel is walking distance from downtown & plenty of eating options.

The room was a great size, however, the carpet definitely needs to be updated and there was wall paper coming off the wall. If there are updates to the room, we would definitely stay again as the pool space was Amazing!! Having the hot tub right next to the pool is a win for me.

It was OK It's not a great value - $175./night seems high. Small bathroom, outdated tub/shower. 4:00 check-in is too late

Beds and pillows were very comfortable. There were many outlets available which was really nice. The bathroom was also very clean and there were plenty of towels and washcloths. Oh, also, the hallway was very quiet. I’ll go back again.

The second room we were in was good, but there was still a smell of cigarette smoke throughout the building. I have to wonder if having smoking stations on both sides of the entrance, and one being near the HVAC units, is playing a role in this. I think having 1 smoking station would be adequate. We did the breakfast buffet one day and that wasn't worth the cost at all. The juice was warm, there weren't many options & the food was bland. I wouldn't recommend going to the buffet. It's a convenient location for what we need it for, but I'm not sure we would stay here again.

Great location on downtown Neenah. Walk to restaurants, farmer's market, lake. Large room, well appointed, quiet. No freezer in mini fridge, dirty carpeting and couch, shower was very dirty. Expensive and no free breakfast. They even charged for tea downstairs at the coffee bar.
