My husband & I stayed 5 nights in May2026. We were there to have a relaxing vacation. The cost was over $400/per night (booked thru Expedia - cheaper than direct) which is a lot for motel accommodations, but we were excited for the location. Staff was pleasant but housekeeping was lacking. Saturday/Festival - We had no idea nor were we informed of this huge festival that would take over the courtyard. The pool was closed for that entire day & we were not informed of that until we checked in. The courtyard turned into a "frat party" with port a potties directly beneath our balcony. The live music and noise was impossible to ignore. We did not get any sleep and were not able to use the pool, go to the Lemon Bar (PACKED), or quietly lounge on our balcony to read or enjoy the view. Additionally, we had a biking trip planned for Saturday morning. When we tried to leave the parking lot, we were told that we could not carry our backpack or supplies OUT or IN. After sending 2 emails, I reached out & spoke to Trina (Manager). I req 1 night credit for the festival. She told me I had to contact Expedia. I did so, they reached out & received no response to approve the credit after several attempts. Expedia did end up crediting me some One Key Cash for the inconvenience so no complaints with them. Bottom line, very disappointed in how this was handled and I would not stay here again - festival or no festival.

This is a hidden gem. I absolutely love staying at The Seahorse Inn. It is right on the beach. The staff and other guests are so friendly, it is like being with family. The pool is so nice and the Lemon Grill serves great food. The room was very clean and spacious. The area is very quaint with many shops and places to eat. I felt completely safe walking around at any hour. The staff are very dog friendly and dogs are permitted on the beach. It is a great place to relax and "recharge one's batteries." I can't wait to go back.

The Good: The staff was VERY nice and helpful. You are close to the beach and they provide nice beach towels for you. There is an outdoor shower to clean off after a day at the beach before you go back to your room. The fridge in the room was a little larger than your normal hotel room cube fridge. We did not visit the restaurant/bar but it seemed very busy and people were having fun. Big positive - you are right next to the best restaurants in Neptune Beach. The Not-So Good and improvements needed: The place could use a paint job and modernization to have it not look like a rode side motel. There is no elevator or luggage lift to the second floor so you have to lug your luggage up a flight of stairs with a landing. The TV is small and the remote was a little gross as the channel button would stick when changing channels. Recommendations: Choose the first floor as you can walk in and out of your beachfront patio to access the pool and beach where the 2nd floor is much more work to get to your room.

Great view, nice pool. Proximity to great restaurants and cafes

The location is great. The rooms need to be cleaned better. Floors were dirty and turned bottom of feet black just walking through. AC also did not keep up

I was pleasantly surprised. The villa 2 had a washer and dryer and 2 1/2 baths. Everything was good.

The location was perfect, walking distance to restaurants and shopping, and popular bar and grill right by the pool. The staff was very accommodating and my room was always fresh and clean when I returned from a day at the beach. The property is older so, there is no elevator. There are only 2 1/2 stories so day to day stair use was not a big deal. However; it did make moving in and out with luggage a challenge.

Good place for orice

I liked most every thing. The mini gift shop at check in was nice, I purchased some items. Would like to see more beach coverups, ladies tanks, shorts. I would have purchased a "Seahorse " tank, but wanted an image of the sea creature on it!! Coffe machine dirty. Didnt use. Possibly some type of co-op with local business Southern Grounds on coffee options, Most people go over there anyway.

Location was amazing. Room was clean. Pool was great. Lemon bar was fun and convenient!

The seahorse inn was a very good place for the price. The location was amazing, right out the front to the beach, and many food choices just steps away. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful, front desk folks were always available to provide extra towels and the parking attendant was always around and helped us out of a tight spot. One thing if you are traveling with kids to be aware that you cannot bring kids to the lemon bar most of the time so that was kind of a bummer but I get it. The room was soundproof enough that the noise from the bar was not that bad and it was quiet as soon as it closed. All in all a good place, we would stay again

Great location, nice old motel. Ocean views from just about every top floor room. Parking is limited, but we didn’t have a problem. The room could have been cleaner when we checked in (sandy floor) but overall we had a great stay. Paid parking is an extra $20/day Would stay here again
