Courtyard by Marriott Jacksonville Beach Oceanfront

Disappointed we only had a shower and no bathtub as with our aging backs, we enjoy our hot baths before bed. The property was renovated and beautiful oceanfront views! Love having the balcony to watch and hear the waves! This was our 3rd stay and definitely far better than Ponte Vedra Lodge and Club we stayed at our first trip and far less expensive. Nice restaurant and bar. Staff was amazing! Can't wait to go back! Only complaint is we aren't animal lovers so wasn't fond of the dogs in the hotel although they did seem to have specific rooms if you travel with pets.

It was great for a couple days away. Nice pool. The gal that worked the front desk every day we were there gets 10 out of 10. She was so kind, helpful and personable.

Upon arriving at this hotel, I was very impressed and pleased with how well the hotel staff was very friendly, polite and friendly. Upon entering the room, it was just the right temperature. Our ocean view was very pleasant and we found serenity while looking out to the ocean and enjoying the sounds. Guests service was very helpful. The breakfast was just so fulfilling and tasteful. This would be my choice of stay while visiting Jacksonville Beach. Everything about the room was up to par. Love the atmosphere and easy access.

Everyone here was so friendly and helpful. The place was clean and so were the rooms. We had a balcony with an ocean view that was awesome. Kevin at the pool bar was a great guy. We did not have breakfast here because we just walked to Metro Diner, our favorite place. Would definitely recommend and look forward to staying here again. Will be back.

My son and I stayed for two nights. We absolutely loved it! Perfectly situated right on the beach with very easy access to the surf. Beautiful pool and very convenient (and good) restaurant. Not only was the hotel perfect, but the Hotel staff was so very nice, helpful, and polite. Brooke at the front desk, exceptionally helpful and kind. We will definitely be back!

I appreciated the closeness of the beach. Kevin the Bistro guy was pretty great as well. I didnt like the snarly staff. I watched B'anna snarl at a customer who seems a bit frazzled about her room. Later I went down and asked a staff member for a cup for the coffee and she acted like I asked her for a loan. We decided to try the Bistro after a long drive and not wanting to go back out. I got a jerk shrimp with black beans, rice, peppers n onions and chives maybe, but they forgot everything but the shrimp and rice, mighty small portion too for $22 bucks. They kindly made it right and i decided to order banana fosters cheese cake to take to my room...they forgot the cheese cake. REALLY!!Anyway...the room is small, the TV was complicated. The whole experience wasnt worth $200. Disappointed honestly. And no free breakfast. The cheapest places offer a free breakfast. As I'm submitting it is rating my stay as a 3...but it's a 1.5 or a 2 at best.

Oceanfront view and onsite restaurant. Not idea space for private gatherings. A company had a private gathering in the lobby and it interrupted our stay because we couldn’t enjoy sitting in the lobby. They should rethink offering the space for group entertainment.

I have been staying at the Marriot Jacksonville Beach many times during the year for over 10 years. This time was a little different. The front desk was hardly ever staffed, which was an odd change. Also, we were charged $150 for a pet fee although our dog is a service dog?? This has never happened before. I will be back, but hopefully these won't be an issue. Other than that, the remodel is beautiful, the pool and tiki bar were a delight, and the room was clean and comfortable. Hope this review helps.

The location, the room, the staff Pillows and towels were kind of stiff. It was a little pricey. One night in a king size bed oceanfront was $318. That was for the prepay- it would’ve been more if I chose the pay upon arrival method.

Great stay and perfect view of the ocean in oceanfront rooms. My one critique is that there were not enough hooks to hang wet items, and the balcony door needs a screen so that you can enjoy the sounds of the ocean without letting bugs in. Otherwise would definitely go back.

Easy access to the beach, warm pool, and great hot tub. Loved the stay.

My husband had breakfast. He said it was good. To expensive for me. Location was great. Right on the beach! Charged for parking. No coffee in lobby

The only thing I didn’t like, not the hotels fault, was there were too many owners who left there dogs unleashed. I don’t mind dogs on the beach, but one ran up to me and I’m not a dog lover, especially a wet dog, lol. It only happened once and I didn’t let it ruin my trip. I’ll definitely choose this hotel on my next trip to Jax.
