Casa Marina Hotel

Breakfast was very enjoyable. Our waitress Sam went out of her way to make sure we were happy including having more tea bags ordered for Carol's morning cup of tea. The beach and ocean views are spectacular. This is the most incredible location. You can be on the beach in about 10 steps. Beachtowels were provided by Diane . Amazing assortment of restaurants within walking distance or a very short drive. Parking was free in lot across street.

I’ll definitely be going back and 100 % recommend the hotel to anyone that wants to either spend a few days in a beautiful beach front getaway or celebrate something.

The property was well located due to its proximity to the beach. The bathroom was updated. The rest of the room and linens need to be updated. Due to the nightclub, event space, surrounding public parking, and thin walls, this was a loud hotel. If your goal is to party it would probably be a fun hotel. Nightclub patrons exit the lounge and pass the rooms to leave the hotel, which is also loud and unsafe. It isn’t very family friendly. The breakfast was ok, but it didn’t look a thing like the online photos.

The location was great! Parking was free in a retail lot nearby, if you could find a spot. If not it was paid parking in a public lot next door. This hotel is very old and has not been updated. Staff was helpful when asked, but did not offer details of breakfast, WiFi or evening activities. The restaurant is closed for renovation, but there is a bar on the roof! The bar patrons are allowed to use the internal staircase with zero regard to hotel guests (think drunk girls singing). The bath towels were small/thin and water pressure was lacking! For the price I was not impressed.

I liked the location at the beach and the staff was friendly. The hotel had old school charm and was quaint. I liked that the staff was available 24/7. The internet connection was awful. It kept dropping and being disconnected, even after I said something to the staff and they tried to boost the signal. Both my phone and the TV had really terrible connection issues. The other big issue was the noise. On 2 occasions there was an event happening in the evening, and the volume of noise from it came through loud and clear in my room. Sound travels at this hotel quite well. Lastly, parking is difficult, especially on the weekends and evenings. This hotel does not have a dedicated parking lot and shares it with other businesses at the beach. I also noticed people who were obviously going to the beach parking in the lot.

Definitely not a high-end hotel, but the location is fantastic, the building itself is charming and historic (making upkeep challenging), and the price was great. The only complaint is the quite noisy in-room air conditioner.

This is a beautiful old hotel located right on the beach. The only reason I rated it a little low is that’s it currently under renovation. The entire staff I encountered were absolutely great and helpful!! Would definitely stay here again
