Love the easy check in , contact free and straight forward . Love the room , very comfortable bed and pillows . Love the choice of pillows , clean and homy feel . The amenities are of good quality , like the variety of coffee and offer free of charge water machine outside the short hallway . Location are the best , major attraction and eateries and water front are all within the walking distance . We only stayed 2 nights 3 days but definitely consider come back to stay here again .

The haunting stories make it even better

Now the good part. The bed and beddings were heavenly. They wrapped around you like a soft cloud. I fell asleep in a few minutes. The decor was beyond tasteful. Every aspect of it was harmonized. Almost every adornment mirrored the calming view of the walls. And there was the big blue heron right at the end of the bed. The snacks you left were delicious The bathroom was lovely, and the water pressure and flow was the best I've every had in a hotel. All told, it was a deeply comforting and satisfying stay. I will definitely stay there again.

One of the prettiest rooms. Everything was so clean and spacious. The hotel was quiet and in a fantastic location walkable to most of historic New Bern. The house is historic and well maintained. Will stay here again

What an amazing property. I highly recommend staying here. Beautiful on the inside, super cute city and great service. They made it super easy and were very responsive. 10/10. We also accidentally met the owner and wow what a great guy!!

The location was phenomenal, and the history was amazing. The rooms are beautiful and clean. Very spacious and comfortable.

Such a spacious and beautiful place - as an E-hotel it is not manned, more like staying a a loaned, and well appointed friend’s home. We were unfortunately roomed next to a very unhappy child for 2 nights and not much can be done about where people are placed…

The room was very comfortable and the decor exceeded my expectations. Continental breakfast or some type of small breakfast bar would be great.

I was there for a military order of the Purple Heart Convention. The hotel was about a three-minute walking distance to the convention center, so I suggest if you're staying at the Riverfront Convention Center, that's the place to stay. Can't think of anything at the moment.

Self-check in/no front desk. Would have liked to have a firmer pillow option.

Bed was squeaky the first night but they fixed it right away upon request the next morning.

Nothing, everything was lovely.

Absolutely stunning rooms and lobby. Decor is very high end and makes you feel fancy. Owner is very responsive to all needs and questions. Very satisfied 2 time customer. If I have to be nit picky and name a fault O would say that it is the shower. It is rather small and the shower head is large so it’s hard to get out of the water to wash hair, wash body, etc.

Great location. Most everything walkable from hotel. Close to downtown restaurants and shopping. Water front steps away.
