Tryon Riverfront Inn New Bern, Tapestry

Nice enough but not what we expected given the price we paid for the room.

Everything was great. Other than that, the coffee maker in the room wasn't working.

The staff here are always friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were very clean and they smelled nice. No antiseptic or chemical smell. The restaurant was delicious. We enjoyed every meal. Nigeria was our waitress much of the time and she was a breath of fresh air during our stay! She took great care of us.

The only thing I would suggest is an umbrella it shade sail on the patio during the hot season. I can't wait to return!

Breakfast went well. Staff accommodating and flexible about requests or adjustments. They didn't have decaf coffee available during our stay there. The bathroom in room needs a little more work. The bathtub is somewhat slippery, risking fall or injury. Could use another hanger for towels, robes. Could also use another grab bar along shower wall. Otherwise renovations nicely done. Room could use another chair for reading; also, there was no place to park the suitcases (no racks, etc.).

For families, I'd say it's not the greatest; no pool in the middle of summer in NC is a big downside. There's note really a lot of room in the lobby or common areas to hang out. If you want a very well appointed room that's quite without standard vacationers (didn't see a lot of families or little kids, maybe because of the higher standard room rate), this is the place to go.

The hotel is a beautiful hotel. It’s obviously been recently renovated. It was sparkling clean, the staff was friendly and efficient. The only meal I have was breakfast. My only comment on breakfast besides the fact that it was delicious was that it was too much food. The location is ideal for anyone going to new Bern, North Carolina. I really can’t think of anything

Great setting, great room, great staff, great time.

New Bern is a hidden gem! Incredible history, architecture, gardens, shopping, dining, etc. Try Persimmon's restaurant on the water. The brand new staff at Tryon Riverfront weren't helpful at problem solving room issues. Food fantastic (especially gluten free sweet potato pancakes) but expect to wait awhile.

Body wash in shower was empty when we first arrived, felt housekeeping should have refilled prior to next arrival. I would stay here again though. Great views!

It was very nice

Not a great time as we would be getting ready to go out for dinner. The restaurant has decent food, but it took me an hour to get avocado toast when there were only 3 tables in the whole place. Would stay again but would get an upper room that gets cleaned earlier and find another restaurant.
