Managers/owners were very accommodating very polite. Enjoyed the experience.

Seriously can’t think of one good thing.

it felt very home. they provided shampoo and soaps. room was downstairs. the room was very small. there was this couch as soon as you open the door so it would get very tight when heading out and coming in. there is no door to the bathroom so there was no privacy with in my family. the wifi was down and they never got it back up. but i loved that they did try.

Was charged for something that I didn’t take the manager and housekeeper said 2 different things and was charged extra $50 dollars The manager went into our room durning our stay with our consent . Apologized and asked if we needed more towel that he would later charge me and extra $50 dollars for .

We really enjoyed the room and the owner was sweet and very accommodating. We stayed here while we floated the river for a girls trip and highly recommend this place. Everyone was kind and helpful The room was nice and big and the location was great to the river.

Inexpensive and charming Very dated yet clean. Hwy noise but tolerable

It was musty; not enough wash cloths, wifi did not work. Hotel is too old, needs upgrades or remodeling.

Being close to Ih 35 Everything! When I first showed up to check in I had to ring a bell and it felt like I was at someone home then a bussiness. As I was walked in they have all these plants and Im not lying when I said I seen a HUGE RAT. that was my 1st sign of it being filthy! They have way to many plants ? just a horrible stay all the way round. Worst hotel EVER

No breakfast location was good. Older than I expected

Tile floor broken in several areas and would pop. No soap or shampoo. Was looking forward to staying, but was disapponted. Owners seem ok, but no help. I really wanted to like this place, but didnt work for me.

Bugs everywhere.

Rooms were hot. Bed had a smell to them. Drawers had broken handles. AC unit had exposed wiring. After 2-3 hours with ac turned on(we had to plug in and turn on ourselves) rooms were still too hot to have kids in them. Had to leave. From desk clerk seemed to be upset that we could not stay under those conditions. Snatched the keys from me and went into the back room. Didn’t even ask for a refund.

Nothing. It had roaches in the room and was gross. Plus, he overcharged me 2 days after we left He made us leave at 8am the morning of checkout because my wife asked for some toilet paper. But he waited until I had left to go get us some breakfast before he came to the room to tell her to get out. This was two hours after she had gone to ask for some tp (the room hadn't been stocked). He literally waited until I had left so he could go try to bully this small woman. What a coward.

Bathroom was not clean

Skip the Edelweiss Inn in New Braunfels, TX—it's a decrepit 1980s throwback run by a raging owner who turns confirmed reservations into police-threatened evictions. Booked via Booking.com for one night with late check-in approved, this was my worst hotel fiasco ever. Charming town? Sure. This dump? Hard pass. Arrived early in my late window on Nov 18. Polite front desk gal tried calling the owner to confirm—got voicemail. She copied my ID, gave the key, and noted no breakfast or ice. Red flag, but okay—small town, I'd walk for food. Room: Ancient and unkempt. Cinderblock walls, musty air, outdated everything. Not filthy, but a previous guest's wristband sat untouched on the nightstand. Crashed at 9:30 PM. 10 PM: Phone blasts. Rude owner demands immediate credit card payment. I explain Booking.com prepay—he explodes: I'm "trespassing," he'll storm my room for the card, call cops. Stunned, I hang up mid-yell, pack, drop key silently, and flee to my truck. Found a vacancy nearby; in bed by 11 PM. . Follow-up via Booking.com? He gaslights: Accuses me of rudeness and "verbally assaulting" his kind staffer. Lies— she was great; he's the bully. Lobby cameras? Release the tape, pal. It won't show abuse because it didn't happen. This isn't hospitality—it's harassment. Booking.com, pull this listing. Travelers: Choose better. Zero stars if possible.

It looks nice from the outside. And the location right off the interstate is handy. The room was musty. The sink, toilet, bathtub, and tile were cracked. The place is in need of renovation and is definitely showing its age. The towels were worse than the towels I had in prison. Like really, get some decent towels. And stock enough of them in the room. There were hand written signs everywhere. Looked very unprofessional

Super cute place. Very clean and comfortable. Staff was nice, even when we arrived at 1:00 AM!

Filthy, old & moldy..... the only thing that was nice was the location. Had to stay near my jobsite.

Mold on ceiling, homeless camp upstair, never changed the bedding in a week, holes in the walls for bugs and rodents, droppings, abundance of crickets INSIDE. Black mold on the ceiling in the shower. Rude attendant. NEVER AGAIN!

There was a massive hole under the sink where crickets and bugs were coming in. I got some spray foam to try & seal it so we could sleep the remaining nights of our stay. The AC had to be 40 years old. The parking spaces were full of potted plants.
