THE COFFEE POT IN THE ROOM DID NOT WORK. SO I WENT TO THE LOBBY TO GET SOME COFFEE. I GOT 2 CUPS OF COFFEE AND THEY CHARGED ME $10.00. MAYBE I AM JUST CRAZY BUT IF YOU PAY $315.00 A NIGHT AND YOUR COFFEE POT IN THE ROOM WAS NOT WORKING YOU WOULD THINK THEY COULD GIVE YOU A CUP OF COFFEE !!!!!! THE ROOM WAS CLEAN AND THE BED WAS COMFORTABLE BUT ALL AND ALL IT WAS WAY OVER PRICED !!!!

I thinking having the option to go tubing or kayaking out back is awesome. The lobby is simple. Easy parking. You have to check-in in person. I stayed in the pecks building and it was extremely loud cause of the highway close by. I had earplugs and even with them it was so loud. The place is basic. I’d stay again for the river options out back.

The property was nice and had a lot of amenities and we loved the location! It was very close to historical downtown Gruen and on the Guadalupe river!

Staff should always knock before entering an occupied room. The property should also provide an inside lock and/or a clear “Do Not Disturb” sign so guests can feel secure and have their privacy respected. I hope management addresses this issue so it does not happen to another guest.

The hotel grounds are awesome and our loft queen was perfect for 3 of us. We were able to take advantage of the peaceful grounds at night and even partook in the sauna. We contemplated a cold plunge in the river after but that was a bridge to far :-) It’s a great concept though. Definitely helps with the creaky bones! Overall highly recommend. I think we encountered the owner when our door needed batteries in the lock. The staff was super attentive.

Staff was super friendly! The pool area was amazing. Everything is convenient. The rooms are plain but it’s more about the area, the pool, the club house, easy access to tubbing. We will be back!

Place was amazing, but do NOT get the loft rooms in the summer…the room was unbearably hot due to the design. It’s impossible for the upstairs loft to get any air from the window unit during the summer. But management did an amazing job and put us into a different room. I would defintly go back but would not book the loft room in the summer. This room is probably perfect in the fall or winter season

LOVED this place!

The showers need a grippy mat or some kind of texture on the bottom and maybe a rail because I almost busted my ass twice and so did my fiance. Everything else was great. The beds super comfy. The amenities were awesome. Access to the river for tubing and kayaking.

I would love to give this place five stars, given the modest price we paid for two nights, I think it is 100% a great value! We were here midweek, late in Summer so it was very quiet. We sat by the pool both evenings alone, very peaceful under the trees. Beds are comfy, rooms are tiny, and the AC is cold! Our room faced the road, so there was a bit of traffic noise, but not unbearable. I wouldn’t recommend it to my fancy friends, but if you just want a comfortable place to sleep, the location is pretty central, free parking, easy access, give it a look.

I stay at A LOT of hotels and your staff is exceptional. The room was clean and comfortable. My wife used the terms “eclectic”, “retro boho”, and “modern vintage”. I’m not near as cultured as she is so I’m not sure what all that means but I assume it’s good. Studio room could have had better airflow. Granted it was 110 so the AC and little fan were doing all they could but maybe a ceiling fan or elevated fan upstairs could have made it better.

Check in was fast and easy. Rooms were what the pictures show, right on the water. Loved the vibe. The bed was super comfortable as well.
