The Faust Hotel

Beautiful new decor.

We loved our stay at the Faust. The hotel is well designed with rich colors, velvet fabrics, whimiscal rugs and beautiful art pieces throughout the property. The public spaces--the bar, terrace on side and the front--are inviting. The rooms are elegant, comfortable beds, large bathroom with the necessary amenities (plenty of towels, hair dryer, good smelling body wash, lotion and shampoo/conditioner. It's a historic hotel that has been renovated and has kept some of the history intact like the telephone booth in the lobby and other things for you to discover. Location is good, right in the downtown. You can walk to hotels, shopping or river rafting. For us, there is no other hotel to stay in New Braunfels but the Faust.

We spent one night due to an AC failure. We stayed at The Faust 3x prior to the renovations. I have to say I liked the charm during our previous visits, but this new version is outstanding!

Clean rooms and common areas. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here again. The Anderson suite was perfect!

Wow, what an extremely pristine and gorgeous hotel. We’ve lived in new Braunfels for over 20 years moved away came back. Thought we’d stay at the Faust for the first time. Loved it we’ll be back again. Restaurant bar outside sitting area a band playing or sing at least walking distance to the downtown area comfortable beds, friendly staff valet parking on premises parking down the street free parking. It was great. We loved it.

Newly renovated and beautiful. The hotel staff was amazing.

Restaurant red snapper bites were excellent Bar service for tables & couches on Friday did not begin until 5:30. Was hard to get a beverage going up to the bar. The cheesecake in the restaurant was not good at all.

Beautifully decorated. Nice and cool rooms. Spacious design. The bathrooms were excellent and water nice and hot. The only disappointments were there wasn’t an iron and no breakfast was served. However there was a wonderful cafe near by. Just a 6 min walk. It made the trip well rounded. I will most definitely tell my friends and family and will stay again! Lovely staff! Made my husband and I wedding anniversary a very relaxing and stress free experience.

I don’t know where to start. What an AMAZING place to stay. The room was spotless and so was the whole property. I loved the beauty in it all. The original decor was absolutely mind blowing. I would definitely stay there again. The staff is friendly and helpful.

The old charm of the building and the very helpful staff..

The whole facility is beautiful, tasteful and authentic. We were on the third floor and the elevator was out! But the staff was very helpful and carried our bags up for us. It was just difficult for two 70 yr olds.

Location is walking for all the restaurants and bars.

Very old hotel, so if you dont like that old style charm, you probably wont like this hotel. A couple ghosts... but thats fine. Just makes it more interesting! Would definitrly stay here again!

It's a historic building and cute. The Faust is in walking distance to New Braunsfels downtown area and "Wurstfest" venue. We went to the festival so choosing a in walking distance location was important to us. It's old; that has its charme but also downsides, like a very small room and even smaller bathroom. Which in itself is not a problem, but seems highly overpriced (over $300 for one night).

The new outdoor patio was beautiful and a fun place to hang out. Only open 4-9 pm for drinks and shareables as their restaurant is being remodeled. Great location!

All Construction in bar

Great staff. The rooms are a little strange with the elevated bathrooms. They are still working on the facility, so they try to utilize their common spaces to offset that the bar is not finished etc.
