Baymont by Wyndham New Buffalo

The property is run down, they have trash all over the outside, along with a big open box of siding near the smoking area, found some dried blood on the bottom of the bathroom door handle, looks like mold on the hallway carpet! Door to outside does not lock so anyone could get in through side door, plus staff does not maintain someone at the front desk, have to wait for them to come up from the back! Covers inside the hot tub was totally off of the inside of tub! Elevator was out of order and sounds like it’s been out of order for awhile! Would not recommend this hotel until they completely remodel and fix everything and clean up the property!

I paid $280 for one night for a room that had holes and stains on the walls, a cracked bathroom counter with a sharp edge at my toddlers’ eye level, no drain in the sink and it was clogged, no drain in the shower, the carpets were grossly stained, all the lamp shades were stained, the mattress protector was also stained. The elevators weren’t working and neither were the vending machines. All in all this place was a dump and definitely not worth the price.

Would be nice if the elevator was in working order.

When we arrived we were told the elevator was broken leaving us to carry all our luggage up 2 flights of stairs. There was water dripping from the ceiling in the hall just outside our room. The carpet was wet in the room. There was a horrible odor in the room of air freshener. The fridge door was crooked and didn’t close all the way. The bathroom was very poorly maintained with cracked tiles, a plastic bag catching a leaky pipe, the valence was knocked off and crooked…I could go on and on. Needless to say we cut our stay short one night. I would never stay at this hotel again.

Decent enough hotel, clean for the most part but clearly very outdated. Could use a remodel and definitely not as good of a value as the other 2 hotels nearby in New Buffalo (Comfort and Holiday Inn Express, both in same price range and much more updated)

Elevator was not working but they were fixing. One vending machine did not work and the other was not stocked. Staff was very friendly and room was clean and comfortable.

Elevator was not working and when inquire in was met with disdain. And indifference

Outside was messy. Breakfast was subpar, and not looked after. Hotel smelled like someone lived in and cooks Indian curry. Vending machines out of order.

There was a hole on our floor where the underneath of the rug was showing and nails were sticking up. I called to complain and they came in with a patch.And put it on also, the hotel is very outdated and old dirty. The bed was very uncomfortable.Do not recommend this place

The elevator was not working. Soda machine was out of order. Musty smell in the hallway. Carpet was dirty. Lights were flickering in the room. Very disappointing stay. Water in the hot tub had an odor.

The location from the highway and to the downtown shopping area. Elevator was broken, we were put on the third floor. Vending machine was broken. Hallway was musty smelling.

Location was good Cleanliness, breakfast, elevator was out, bathroom wasn’t cleaned, beds were uncomfortable.

Just old needs to be updated

It’s close to the expressway Staff wasn’t too nice, was a bit dirty

Nothing Everything my room smell like smoke curtains were falling down dirty towels in the bathroom food in the bathroom

It was off the highway! That’s all! There was a huge bug by the hot tub in room! No food in breakfast area! The man used his bare hands to bring 2 muffins in! Back door open! Dirty and old!

The entrance, to the property from the main street, is NOT lit and at night is hard to find a way. The curved driveway with high curbs
