Great location and clean

The staff were friendly and helpful. The biggest problem was that the bathroom smelled and we complained the first 2 days. They did try to fix the problem but I think they have a plumping problem. It did get better and I had bought an air freshener. We stayed for 5 nights and we ate the breakfast there every morning. It was good even though it was the same thing every morning. I do feel they need to clean the outside patio areas more often, it was littered with trash and cigarette butts. The bed was comfortable and pillows were nice. Overall I would rate it 4 stars.

Nice enough hotel , near New Buffalo. Short drive into town or to the beach. It was 75 dollars cheaper than the other hotel across the street, and just as nice , if not better.

It was awful

Breakfast wasn’t good. The hotel is very dated. Overall it was clean. Ratings said high, but I’ve stayed in nice hotels & this hotel was not worth the $300 they charged me. It was an $80-$100 hotel. It is close to downtown New Buffalo.

I say that because it's quiet, very clean, and nestled in a little grove of trees. These are the hotels I like staying at. The staff was friendly, the hotel was quiet, and the fire alarm didn't go off like it does at almost every other hotel I stayed at. I really appreciated it. More importantly, the people working felt like they wanted to be there. The woman that checked me in was a pro and after being on the road all day, her kindness and friendly smile meant a lot. And she had lemonade prepared and coffee right at the check-in! Very appreciated. Affordable, clean, and conveniently located. Great stay, highly recommended.

Close to everything and overall very nice hotel!

Hotel very dated but clean. After arriving I washed my hands in our room 120. When you turn the sink water off it smells of sewer gas. We went down to the desk, would have left but I booked through Expedia and didn’t do insurance so they said it would be our choice to try to get reimbursed by Expedia. She gave us another room 216. The same thing happened but not as bad. The toilet was loose so every time you sat down it wobbled. The bed was comfortable and clean. It definitely wasn’t worth the money we had to spend on Expedia!!! Very disappointing.

This was a delightful, quiet, very clean place to stay with a very helpful, friendly staff.

Room was absolutely gross when we checked in. Bed sheets were not clean and when we asked for new sheets they didn’t have enough. They gave us what they could to make it work and asked us to change it ourselves because they didn’t have anyone there from housekeeping. Then after taking care of all that we noticed rice and some kind of sauce all over the carpet by the dining area. We asked for that to be cleaned up but were told housekeeping could better assist in the morning. Finally, we saw the hair all over the bathroom floor. At this point I had enough and asked for a refund to go to another hotel. The front desk told me that no manager was on sight to fulfill the refund request. So I just asked for another room instead. That wasn’t an option because the hotel was all booked up. I tried to find another hotel within 20 mile radius to go to instead and unfortunately couldn’t find one available. Upon check out I tried to find a manager to express my complaints. They told me no manager actually works on sight often and they weren’t sure when they would be in. They expressed that the manager wouldn’t care anyway what I had to say because we ended up spending the night. I explained that there wasn’t anything available in a 20 mile radius to which she replied I should have looked for further options then. Terrible attitude and service.

Our recent accommodation was exceptional. The room was immaculate, offering a serene view of the surrounding woodlands. The complimentary breakfast, refreshing lemonade, and the laundry room significantly enhanced our experience. Also, the price was very good.

The room was excellent. Everything worked as it should. The bed was quite comfy, I think I fell asleep in seconds. I appreciated the designated smoking area. Breakfast was pretty good. Overall, excellent stay.

This is an older motel but not bad. We stayed at the newer one across the road last year and it smelled awful, like weed! 😝

The pool and hot tub were well maintained. The continental breakfast was excellent. The staf was friendly and accomodating.

Great staff, very clean room with comfortable beds, a little over a mile to the beach. Excellent stay and I’ll be booking again.

I like All But if a less clean up the carpet floor it will very good.
