Dauphine Orleans Hotel

The air conditioning didn’t work well. One morning water was dripping on the carpet beneath the vent after the night when it didn’t work at all. The only ice machine that worked was out by the pool. There was a small safe in our room but when my husband called to get a key he was told people forget and take them home in their pocket so there was no key available. There was a small refrigerator that worked fine but no microwave in the room. Parking was $50 per night.

Perfect location

Location was excellent and staff was friendly.

The staff were very polite and helpful, however the pool water looked green, the hallway and room had a strong scent, carpet needed cleaning. The pictures on the website looked very clean and nice and it wasn’t

Great place to stay

Staff was amazing. Location was amazing… close to everything but quiet. Room was simple and a bit rustic, nothing fancy, but had that old New Orleans appeal. I will definitely stay here again!

Location can’t be beat but keep all other expectations low

Our flight home wasn't until later in the day, and they went above and beyond by allowing us to relax by the pool after checkout and even gave us drink vouchers while we waited. Valet was even able to get us an HONEST taxi driver. That level of hospitality really made us feel valued as guests. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and in a great location. It's customer service like this that makes a stay memorable. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend the Dauphine Hotel to anyone visiting New Orleans!

Great place to stay

I enjoyed my stay; however, I found the hallway & room carpet was dirty and definitely in need of cleaning. It caused my room to have a rank odor in which I combated by purchasing carpet freshener. In checking in the I was not advised of the Wi-Fi password and was not informed of tickets for complimentary drinks at the bar.

The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The A/C didn't keep the room very cool at night. It was hot outside though. I would stay again.

It was a great place to stay at. The room was a good size and the location was perfect.

We had to change rooms THREE times. No AC, rooms were all 90 degrees. Told it’s “an old building there’s nothing we can do”. There was no hot water in the disgusting shower. Couch covered in mold. Air vents covered in mold which has given me respiratory issues. Carpet disgusting. Bed always felt damp. House keeping rarely came. No extra toilet paper. Absolutely atrocious and needs to be shut down. DO NOT STAY HERE. Only perks were the front desk ladies Hope & Cori who were very sweet and helpful and the pool to cool down (which was very bare bones)

Perfect location to explore the city from on foot with a really friendly staff. The pool is great for a quick dip to cool off in during the hotter parts of the day. And even though it’s in the French Quarter it is very quiet at night.

Terrell at the front desk is absolutely amazing! Our short stay was memorable simply because of our interactions with him. Loved it.
