Prince Conti Hotel

Room was clean and sheets were changed during our stay. However the bed was terrible it was hard and the head of the bed was lower than the foot of the bed. My ribs hurt every morning and my husband kept trying to sleep in the chair because the bed was hurting his back so bad. I don’t suggest driving a large truck like we did the older gentleman that parked valet wanted us to leave the truck parked for our 3 day stay and not ask for it. We only asked for it the last full day we were there to explore. Even though they charge $49 a day to park your vehicle. This was a very expensive vacation.

location, location, location! It was great

Right from the start the front desk staff made us feel welcome. Everyone was so friendly and helpful! We loved the vintage hotel and our room was wonderful. Bathrooms were a little small but it was super clean. We worried about the noise from the street but that wasn’t an issue either. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. Hope to stay there again when we get to New Orleans in the future.

Overall a great experience. Our only suggestion is to sub out the body bars for liquid body wash/handwash.

Fantastic location, just steps from Bourbon Street and right in the heart of the French Quarter - could not be more perfect. The room was spacious and comfortable, serviced daily, and we were lucky enough to get an early check-in upon arrival. Noise could be an issue depending on the room. Ours felt like it was practically inside the karaoke bar next door, with very loud music continuing into the early hours. Earplugs or noise-cancelling headphones are recommended! Parking is also quite expensive.

I have stayed at the Prince Conti at least 5-6 times and until now, have always enjoyed my stay. The rooms have been clean, cool, quiet and the staff very friendly. However this time, they put me in room 106 which is away from the other rooms and shares a wall with a karaoke bar next door. The music from the karaoke bar rages until 2am each night and is so loud that pictures, the tv, etc vibrate from the noise. I used ear plugs, pillow over my head, white noise generator on my iPhone, etc but nothing blocks out that bass. I asked the nice young lady at the front desk to let me change rooms but she told me that they couldn’t because they were fully booked. I’m pretty sure that the management at the Prince Conti receive many complaints about this room for the same reason. They should turn it into a storage room instead of trying to maximize their revenue and risk alienating their customers like they have me. After so many awesome stays at this hotel, I regrettably won’t be returning again.

Staff were very friendly, there was a fridge, coffee maker, beds were comfortable. The light above the coffee maker was useless able couldn't see anything, the shower leaked water all over the floor, the toilet paper holder was completely rusted, the room door did not seal well and did not feel secure at all.

Locality, comfortable and clean. The shower door needed to be closed immediately the water was turned on or it spilt all over the floor.

The staff were helpful and lovely. The room was great. The pool was a short walk to a sister hotel that was absolutely beautiful. The location is perfect! And the price was unbeatable. That said, I don’t recommend parking here. They have a valley service that takes cars to an offsite garage, which is fine, but the garage is almost a mile away and the valley has to walk there to get your car…in 100 degree heat! The people waiting in line Sunday morning were beyond mad. I gave the guy a ride back to the garage when he brought back my car and we talked about it. It wasn’t his fault that his company didn’t supply him with a means to retrieve vehicles quickly. The hotel needs to fix that. And it was too hot! That man deserves more than a raise for what they’re putting him through!
