The regular staff were helpful, but the substitute on the night shift was not considerate. On the night of July 4th, I was packing because I had a very early flight back to Chicago. When I could not get the safe open, I went down to the front desk. I was told that a ticket had been put in but there was no one to help that night. I explained that I was leaving the hotel at 5:15 a m, the only thing this dude could do was throw his arms up in the air in a not my problem way a because there was no one on site to fix it because of the holiday. I did get the safe open and I did get packed. However, minutes later, the hotel lost power due to a blown transistor on Bourban Street. I bet that guy sure wished he had someone on site then.

First night coming in thought I was going to have an balcony since the amenities list it desk clerk said it will be an addition $50 the two times I email them to ask for that it wasnt never communicated , second day television had an old fashion remote with limited of channels i was on my phone more than watching tv because it kept coming off then the air was making noise when I take to report it the staff said if they move me to another room it will be the same also she cut me off I had to come downstairs and confronted her about that because I wasn’t finish talking then that night French quarter electricity came out surprise the facility didn’t have an generator for back up but I was just literally over it after two hours of sweating in the dark I caught an flight back home . Worse vacation & money spend ever !!

The power went out for several hours. No backup power was available. From 10:30pm til about 6am in the morning there was no power and no AC. No relief was offered and no refund was given for any of these issues.

While the courtyard was beautiful, it was tented making it seem warmer. The open air hallways made it difficult to cool the room completely. Beautiful building; rustic with modern in all the right places.

I did not use the parking but the hotel was excellent and very vintage. Great new shower though.

Parking is available, so we parked the car and used Lyft to get to other destinations that we would not want to walk to.

I called the hotel to ensure they had room in valet parking. I was told no. I had to find public parking. Then when I checked in they asked if I was parking a car. I said you told me you had no parking. She said I must have called the wrong number. I repeated the number and was told by another worker that was the correct number. Upon check out they asked me if I parked a car I said no. She supposedly emailed the receipt. I never got it. Just checked my credit card and they charged me for parking!!!!

Beautiful hotel, architecture is great. Location at the heart of New Orleans. Walking distance to everything. Coffee maker in the room but no tea. They offer free bottled water and free drink vouchers at their bar, 21st Amendment, which has great live music.

    Great time, great stay!!

Will, the concierge at the front desk, was amazing! He went above and beyond to help us make our daughters bucket list trip awesome! The valet was awesome as well! We arrived tired and irritated, and the valet, I wish I could remember his name, put our minds at ease and took care of us and our vehicle with the greatest understanding. Monica and Charles in the restaurant, pure angels! The bartender at Bar Vin, awesome cannot rememher name but she's only there Wednesday and Thursday! If I was going to say anything negative, it would be the music at the clubs surrounding the hotel, going until early morning on Thursday night into Friday. This really is an awesome hotel! We will book it again!

Great location, friendly and helpful staff. Loved the room and overall ambience. Was concerned about noise due to the location but it was surprisingly quiet. Will be my go-to spot in New Orleans from now on!

The room was clean, parking was valet and easy, location was right in the middle of everything.

It was a cute. The outside water foundation was amazing. The staff was amazing, they let me check in early. The room was clean. It did have a weird smell once we walked in. The shower was also hard to work not sure if that’s for everyone or just my party.

If I had one thing to improve on, it would be to make the lighting in the elevator a bit brighter. But other than that, I had an excellent time!! The hotel is beautiful!! This was my first trip back to New Orleans in 30 years. I can’t even remember where I stayed last time, but I know that I will never forget my stay here. Thank you!!
