Just fine

They were in process of updating some interior sections. However, they kept the work area clean & were as quiet as possible. The elevator is VERY dark & musty smelling. The rest of the place was nice & the staff was very kind. Parking was a bit of a pain, but not unmanageable.

This is a great hotel nestled in the French Quarter. It’s a beautiful hotel with well appointed furnishings in each room. It truly represents French style and decor. The windows in each room have beautiful shutters.

Wonderful Hotel

From check in to check out everything was excellent. Mr. Will at the front desk was extremely helpful and the breakfast was awesome.

We chose the Mazarin being first time visitors to New Orleans with no knowledge of the French Quarter or its layout. I’m so happy we did! The staff were absolute lately incredible, from the front desk team to the housekeeping to the gentlemen who would grab our car from the garage across the street. When asking what the best can’t miss spots were, one of the front desk attendants gave us a map of New Orleans and even circled and talked about all the must go places. The hotel was beautiful, the beds were comfy, and the location was right in the heart of the French quarter. Couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you to the Hotel Mazarin team for making our trip to New Orleans unforgettable!

Great hotel, rooms were very clean and hotel employees were awesome

Conveniently located right off of the main strip in the French quarter, but surprisingly peaceful and quiet. Hotel was nicely appointed and clean, just a bummer they had a tarp over the second story of the courtyard obstructing the sky views, and for those on the 3rd floor their view into the courtyard was completely obstructed.

The location was stunning and absolutely perfect! The staff were warm and efficient and made our stay extremely easy and pleasant. The room was beautiful and managed to still be somewhat quiet even with rooms directly in the quarter. Beautiful, we enjoyed our stay

Clean luxurious rooms and nice and quiet if you stay in the back!

The Mazarin is a clean, quiet, inexpensive hotel only a block away from Bourbon Street. The rooms are impeccable and very spacious for the money. The front desk was extremely helpful, with great dining suggestions and responsive answers to any needs for little amenities. They've been my "home base" for visits to the Quarter for years now, and will continue to be so for the future.

Beautiful spot in the French Quarter! Excellent location within walking distance of many favorite spots in NOLA. We will definitely be back!

Great stay

I would have given five stars, but this place has a beautiful courtyard yet. There was no smoking area. I had to go out on the street to smoke.

Great central location!

The Mazarin Hotel has the old charm and vibe of New Orleans and is conveniently located in the French Quarter. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make our stay very welcoming and enjoyable.

Despite being located mere steps away from Bourbon Street and its usual craziness and noise, the Hotel was a respite....quiet, cool and calm. And I appreciated staying in a residence with a historical past rather than a corporate tower. That's the charm of being in N'awlins. My only detraction is that bringing a car into the heart of the Quarter is a trial of patience...parking is limited, expensive and tight. Driving in that part is nonsensical. It's good that they are making some streets car free but a more long term solution needs to form.
