Reviews

Great location and staff was great!
-
No parking for the hotel.
-
I arrived at the Hyatt Centric French Quarter with a fully prepaid reservation, but the front desk claimed they never received the payment from the booking site. They didn’t care about my confirmation email or receipt. Instead of helping me figure it out, they forced me to pay for the room and breakfast all over again directly at the counter just so I could check in. I literally had to pay twice for the exact same stay!

Great property with a nice lobby bar. Rooms were very clean and modern. Right in the center of everything and just one block away from Bourbon Street which cuts the noise down by 75%

Great location

We loved the esthetics of the hotel. Upon check-in, the receptionist advised us of our options for an upgrade and we went with it. We were glad that we did. Thus far, is the the best hotel that we have stayed in in NOLA!
-
Great location right on bourbon Street
-
Great experience. Helpful staff
-
What left a bad taste in my mouth was a $35 “destination fee” that translated to a set of coupons on tours and a 2-3 nearby restaurants. I spent less than 12 hours at the hotel and still had to pay that fee.

Good hotel very nice personal
-
Overall stay was good. They need some TLC to the room floors. Bathrooms outdated. Just some updating would be great. My opinion.
-
The only problem with my stay was- I believe if you let pets stay, they should be on lease in public areas.
-
The staff was amazing and professional.

The Hyatt Centric French Quarter delivers on every front. The rate felt like a steal for a hotel this close to the action, tucked right on the edge of the Quarter so you can walk to Bourbon Street, the riverfront, and Jackson Square in minutes without paying premium French Quarter prices. Rooms were noticeably bigger than what you'd expect at this price point, with plenty of space to spread out after a day of walking. Everything was spotless, from the bathroom to the linens to the common areas. Between the location, the value, and how well-kept the place is, it's an easy recommendation for anyone visiting New Orleans.

Excellent hotel
-
There are many affordable parking spots nearby and safe.. no need to valet park
-
Tours and activities in walking distance.
-
Everything was nice but I wasn't informed about hidden fees like a 35 dollar a night membership fee and a 50 dollar a night parking fee.
-
We liked the balcony and the location. We liked the well kept, clean room. We liked the staff. We liked the hospitality. We did not like that we couldn’t request a microwave nor did we like the hidden $175 fee at check out. The hidden fees are a huge negative for me. In fairness customers should know in advance the full amount with no surprises.

Perfect location, very walkable for the French Quarter. Hotel was really nice and the hotel bar and restaurant in the lobby were good too. Valet parking was easy and quick.
