Hyatt Centric French Quarter New Orleans

We accidentally left a little jewelry bag out in the room on a table when we left for the day. We came back and not just some jewelry but the ENTIRE jewelry bag was stolen. We told security and they said they would investigate and get back to us. We never heard from them. We will never stay here again.

We had a room with two queen beds and a balcony, and it was perfect. The Hyatt centric was the absolute best accommodation in the French Quarters. You will not be disappointed.

The bellhop really made the trip! He always checked in and was anticipating any need that I could think of!

Had difficulty checking in on top of being tired after a 4hr drive, was sorted eventually, room was a lil musty but location was food for a short stay

The pool was easily accessible, a good size for many people to use, and always had shade as needed. The breakfasts were delicious, plentiful, and served until 11 am, so we didn’t have to get up early. Diana, Ursula, and Carlos were especially accommodating for our food tastes. Valet parking was excellent with quick and friendly service. Randy was our first contact for this and explained our daily charges, in/out service, and local options when we asked. He also gave us good restaurant ideas. Hudston was perfect at check-in and also gave us a good food recommendation. We enjoyed the lounge area and friendly staff helping us try to find our favorite tv football game. Ken gave us friendly service - and another great restaurant idea. The cleaning staff was discreet and kind and did a great job. Checkout was smooth and Diana(?) and Eric were gracious and helpful storing our luggage until we had to head to the airport. This was our first time in NOLA and it was so relaxing knowing we could return to the safe and comfortable haven of the Hyatt Centric after the crazy fun and music of Bourbon street after dark.

The only issue I had was they should warn customers to be sure to use the mat in the shower because the tub 8s extremely slippery, more than usual. Almost killed myself falling the first day. Otherwise everything was fine.

We have visited the City of New Orleans numerous times over the last 30 years and this is by far the best hotel we have used. Large, clean rooms near all the drinking and dining spots with an outstanding friendly staff. You can not go wrong booking a room at this facility.
