Someone entered my room while my sign was clearly posted to do not enter. I reached out to management and still have not gotten a response.

This is a Great Hotel, I’ve celebrated my birthday there for the last couple of years, everything is within walking distance.

It was very convenient

We thought hotel was very clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great location only one block from Bourbon St.

Upon arrival, the staff was amazing. Very friendly and welcoming. The property was kept clean my entire stay. The only downside was the pool is a little small and if there are other guest in it, it could feel a little crowded. The location was great. Just a short walk to stores & restaurants.

Chuck at front desk also was extremely informative and helpful. Corey at luggage was kind and helpful as well. Great staff! Great location! The pool was heated and clean. Will definitely stay here again.

This was a lovely stay. The hotel is centrally located and was clean and nice. If I was rating the hotel alone I would rate it 5 stars. Unfortunately, Parker in Guest Services is the reason I will not be recommending anyone stay. The hotel is very quick to bait and switch. When booking you will be told there are “resort fees.” I was fine with this upon booking and still would be it it was what they said it was. Upon arrival you’ll be told your room has been “paid in full” and a $240 hold is placed for incidentals or valet. You are then handed a “free” water bottle, and coupon for excursions and $15 credit in the hotel for each day. After you check out you’ll realize it was not paid in full. Additionally, the “free” items are not free but the mandatory additional fee that you were under the impression was already paid. Parker is rude and hung up on me when I was reasonably flustered. She also claims she is the manager despite continually speaking over me, being rude, and frankly, unprofessional. It’s slow season and the hotel is doing everything they can to take advantage. Those additional “amenities” are things you already pay for and not “resort fees.” Parker will claim the fees are mandatory. I fail to realize what is mandatory about a dinky water bottle, credits for tours and credits for a dingy restaurant. But alas. Take your money elsewhere.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Location is great with quick and easy walking through the French Quarter, to the river, or to 2 different streetcar lines. Being close to Bourbon St was fun but also not a problem. The pool was great. The credit/coupons were ok. I'd still shop around but we did use some. Staff was quick when we needed a light bulb changed and always friendly and helpful. I LOVED the water bottle station. It was so hot when we were there. We liked saying hi to turtles and the courtyard spaces were cute. Everything was clean and AC worked well. The only thing that bothered me was the lack of towel racks in the room.
