Great hotel with friendly staff. Valet took excellent care of my vehicle with no restrictions (in/out 24/7). Other hotels don’t let you take the vehicle in/out or you’ll be charged each time. There was also public parking one block away. The hotel is one block away from bourbon street. The rooms had a balcony so we could enjoy the scenery. There is a restaurant in the hotel but didn’t use because of the limit of food selection and also the first night it was booked for a private event and couldn’t even get food. The staff was very attentive and friendly.

I loved the comfortable room, it was in a good location and had great esthetics. Jamal was so helpful and ensured that we knew great places to eat. It was also very walkable to a lot of things.

Horrible experience. My husband and I stayed 6/22-6/25 and would never ever do it again. The people at front desk are rude and condescending. The restaurant attached is the worst ever. The front desk didn't have a clue about tours and the free breakfast that were supposed to be included. The staff in restaurant are also extremely rude and nasty. Ryan, our waiter, let us sit for over an hour waiting for our food while people came and went around us. When we had the audacity to ask where it was, he unleashed a tirade about how it isn't a perfect world and we didn't have to stay and wait very, very loudly. My husband waited anyway and ate his extremely cold eggs. I pushed my plate back as I was afraid to eat it at this point. He (Ryan) walked by and made a nasty comment about "how I wasn't that hungry after all huh?" What a horrible place this turned out to be. I can't say much for the French Quarter as a whole as it was a bunch of grumpy people who were put out by anything and everything. I would never visit there again and if I did you couldn't pay ME to stay at this dump again! The manager even lied to us on our way out that he would get with Travelocity to see if we could be compensated for this unpleasant experience and would be in touch soon. Still hasn't gotten in touch. He practically begged me not to leave bad review but don't lie to me and then think I won't do what I need to do, which is warn people to stay away from this dump.

Our room was clean, the staff was so helpful from the time we arrived. Valet parking was so helpful and gives you peace of mind. Our breakfast was great and one of the waiters was awesome. Wish I got his name, he was very personable! We had a great time. Use the coupons and the concierge will help you book tours, take advantage of that!

The staff in particular the bar and front door daytime weekday guy was excellent! Ryan and Javan were beyond lovely. Front desk and valet man were amazing. Valet meaning man in braids and locs. Not sure of name. Turtles were set up with a flow of water but not being used. This felt terribly wrong as it was available and choosing not to use. All life is valuable. Please do not cut corners on life and use the resources already in place for better quality for all living beings.

I was really pleased with my stay at the Holiday Inn French Quarter Chateau Lemoyne. One of the coolest things about the property is its location. It’s hidden on a lowkey street but still only a short walk from Bourbon Street, Jackson Square, eateries, and other French Quarter attractions. The courtyard and swimming pool gives the hotel a cute New Orleans touch and provides a nice place to unwind after a busy day of exploring. The staff were helpful and friendly, and the room was cozy and clean. One thing travelers should know is that because the hotel is in an older historic building some rooms and corridors may old-fashioned or smaller than what you'd find at modern hotels. Also if your room faces the street or you're visiting during a busy weekend you may hear some outside noise although it's much quieter than staying directly on Bourbon Street. Overall I'd suggest this hotel to anyone who wants the character of the French Quarter, a convenient walkable location, and a lowkey place to stay while still being close to all the bustle. It's a great balance of charm and convenience.

The staff at this hotel were some of the most hateful & angry people I have ever met. The only decent one was the manager. The girl at front desk was rude & condescending as well as the people in the restaurant inside the hotel. Particularly at restaurant there was one in particular waiter who was one of the rudest people I have ever come across in my 71 years. His name is Ryan. We sat for over an hour watching people order eat & leave and when we inquired where our order was he went into a loud tirade about it isn't a perfect world and this went on for about a minute with him loudly scolding us for inquiring since many people had come and gone. The day before he brought out cold food for us & we didn't even say anything. I had oatmeal that had a film over it due to sitting for so long. I think this was due to the fact that we got "free breakfast". We were treated very poorly. One of the girls from front desk was same type person. I didn't get her name but did speak with the manager & let him know that she was very rude to us & we had seen her standing outside hotel smoking and yelling into her phone using vulgar language in her uniform. I thought people in New Orleans were laid back. None that I came upon in the French Quarter could fit into that category. I have stayed in New York many times & they have the reputation for being rude... these people were over the top rude in almost every encounter. I feel for the manager at Holiday Inn FRENCH QUARTER-CHATEAU LEMOYNE. AVOID!!

Well, we were given a disabled room I don’t know why and the AC in that room was not working so we spent a whole night without AC which was very uncomfortable and then later we got shifted to another room as this disabled room’s AC had an issue with the AC that couldn’t be fixed. I don’t think the money we spent was worth the stay given how uncomfortable that first night was in New Orleans.
