The lights went off @ 11:30 pm we had no air and the room was hot. The lights didn't come back on until 7:15 the next morning....I couldn't sleep all night in a hot room.

Lights went out for 8 hours. Couldn't find stairs access to get to floor. People was sleeping everywhere including me. I slept on second floor balcony outside to get some air. Staff was not available to assist. Experience was horrible. The next day staff stated they couldn't do anything to accommodate, was told to write to corporate. Was not given email to corporate. I was waiting on this survey maybe someone will reach out to me. Guess I will have to wait and see.

The staff were friendly and helpful unfortunately the room and hotel were very rundown. The shower head in the bathroom was broken with a large rusty broken pole holding it onto the wall. The toilet did not flush without removing the lid to manually add water to the tank. When we pulled the sheets back (there was no comforter on the bed) the blanket underneath the sheets was dirty. We called the front desk 10 times and never got an answer. The walls and the floors in the hallway were cracking and decayed. Overall the hotel felt very neglected and dirty.

Power went out one night. They gave me a late check out but I ended up having to get a room at another hotel because it was so hot in my room.

Unfortunately my room wasn’t as clean as it appeared, two of my hand towels were not clean. One had a brown stain, clean not a washed towel. The second had a margaritaville wristband stuck to it. I was the only person in my room. And I didn’t have not wristband or brown substance that was left on the towel. There also was mildew on the side of the tub. The carpet was soaked in the hall that left the hallway with a very bad odor. The pool needs painting. The view from the window is not appealing. One side has a view of an abandoned building. My room wasn’t window view was of the much needed painted pool.

On arrival the room I was placed in was next to the elevators that was very loud and shook the room every 2 to 3 minutes, I stressed my issue to the staff who wasn’t able to move me that night, but did change my room the next day the new room was better, but the floors carpet was a little sour smelling. I think this time for the facilities to be updated but other than the issues I had everything else was excellent.

The power was out on Saturday night and stayed out until the morning. Took away from the experience because the hotel room was extremely hot since the AC was out.

Thought the staff was nice. We always had fresh towels and for it to be in the middle of Canal st the noise was not bad at all! Want to revisit
-
The room didn’t have a coffee pot, no ironing board. Not enough towels.

Perfect location for fun.

It took 3 rooms to finally get a decent room! The smell in the rooms along with the nasty carpet was awful. Maintenance said it was the air. It’s past time to upgrade and remove carpet from hotels. Then on the last night the power went out. No explanation, nothing from management. Even when I requested a refund for the last night, the front desk was rude and said take it up with whomever you booked with. Courtesy would have settled the entire fiasco. The lack of…gets you a bad review. I will never book with them again. No power meant no air, all night until 6 am. They could have at least given an explanation. We had to find out through the internet what happened.
