Great hotel and proximity to French Quarter

i really enjoyed my stay at the JW Marriott. the location is great and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. they are very accommodating and the grounds are well taken care of. It is a very quiet hotel compared to all the others in the area. convenient to get a taxi or uber int he back entrance, and close to everything. most places you can just take a nice walk and get there in under 20 minutes. the pool was out but i realized that i never needed it due to how much there is to do in the area with siteseeing. the store in the lobby was way way overpriced but there is a ton of cvs and walgreens within walking distance. love this place and will definitely return.

We were very pleased with the property. Everything was extremely clean and that’s very important to me and my family. The VIP lounge met all expectations and the staff were very courteous and attentive. Especially Gerry was a very nice gentleman that provided us with information we requested about the city as well as another young lady that I’m not remembering her name. The location was great and I love the idea that guess we’re provided extras such as characters were drawn in the lobby, mimosas were provided on Sunday, and beignets, which was the highlight of trip. I love being a Marriott rewards member and being taken care of like Family.

Staff was great and room was nice. Pool was out, construction on hotel. And outlets are weak. Will not accommodate blowers or anything other than basic low power. If you have a Dyson wrap or blow dryer it will not work

Excellent hotel and excellent staff. The hotel staff are very helpful, nice, and professional. Jerry in the Executive Lounge could teach a master class in customer service. He remembered our names the second day we came down for breakfast. The hotel is in a great location. Far enough from the noise, but close to all the action. I would definitely stay here the next time I am in New Orleans.

The view was breathtaking from the 30th floor. Perfect location, staff and aesthetic. Robe and slippers were chef’s kiss ❤️ The room was cleaned daily, bar was tucked away, breakfast was served with healthy ingredients and on time.

The staff from the front desk to the doormen and the house keepers, and the bar staff were very pleasant and helpful. The staff who cleaned our room went above and beyond to make our room nice.

There was construction and there were issues with the cheap hairdryers they provided. Had to get three to find one that worked. Overall-great location overcomes the minor issues.

The customer service at the JW Marriott New Orleans was exceptional! Room service was excellent and the hotel is very clean. Be aware that most buildings within this historic area are older. With that said, the a/c condenser was a bit noisy and due to the decorative open plumbing plan in the bathroom, the rushing water through the pipes was loud within the bedroom. Nonetheless, if you are an easygoing person that enjoys culture, history, and beauty...these minor issues should not deter you from a wonderful hotel, staff, and experience.

Will definitely be staying here again, loved it.

The only issue that I had personally was my room type. I do not like at all a tub/shower combo and I think they are outdated. Because of this I changed rooms twice (moved for shower and lost my view; moved to a room with a shower and view). For this I am thankful to the staff for being understanding and accommodating. The only issue that I have with the hotel upkeep is the carpet. The carpet is a grayish-taupe and it is worn and appears to be dirty. It should be cleaned or changed immediately.
