Hotel Monteleone, New Orleans

This is supposed to be one of the finest hotels in New Orleans.... Actually one of the most historic and supposedly luxurious... The staff was great... An overabundance of people there to make sure you're stay was wonderful.... The only problem was I've stayed in Motel 8's which supplied more expensive toilet paper than the Hotel Monteleone.

The bar was unique as well. I would definitely here there again.

Stunning entry way and rooftop pool was amazing, quiet but close to bourbon st.

The doormen at this restaurant were extremely nice, attentive, and helpful.

We arrived and the room we booked months in advance was unavailable. I suggest Expedia and partners do a better job of updating bookings prior to travel.

We liked the full service housekeeping (mint on the pillow type treatment) and of course the Carousel Bar.

Work was being done on the downstairs bar during a busy weekend which limited space to hear music.

Beautiful historic hotel in the heart of the French Quarter. Guest room was quiet and well appointed and fitness center was surprisingly good for a boutique hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Exceptional

Location and staff! Especially the doormen and bartenders. The building is nostalgic, but that is what draws me. Some of the furniture, tvs, and bath tub could be updated.

Stay was fantastic! Dwight is an asset to the hotel. Full of great recommendations and local knowledge. Thanks for making it a great stay.

Staff was great

The hotel’s entrance, lobby, carousel bar, and restaurant were exceptional. However, the room we were assigned was outdated and lacked the opulence that guests often perceive. While there may be other luxurious rooms available, we were not fortunate enough to experience them. The food was excellent at the restaurant, we dined there for breakfast and it was amazing. The carousel bar was challenging, making it difficult to secure a spot. We were not overly enthusiastic about this experience. We believe the bar arrangement is first come, first served, but many patrons were crowding the bar and difficult to get any spot whatsoever. If you would like to experience the carousel bar, it seems the only way is by standing in the line and waiting to get in at 11 AM every day.

The hotel and rooms were very clean and upscale.

I did have a couple issues with the card readewrs on the door, and thge lighting inside the rooms can be a bit confusing, but other than that, I love my stay!

Great service, clean, staff very helpful

Everyone and everything was awesome. Joey was so helping getting us information on tours and directions to attractions. Criollo was amazing. Staff were friendly and the food was excellent. Our room was clean and housekeeping staff was very nice. This was our first time there but if we ever go back to New Orleans we will definitely stay there. And I would definitely recommend it to all my friends.
