Dew Drop Inn

The staff was great. The location was ideal. The neighborhood quiet. The hotel was cute and themed based off the history of this iconic hotel. The listed read like all the rooms had a mini fridge, they did not. That would be a great addition. There was definitely room for one. This is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.

They had no refrigerator or microwave in any of the rooms. They also had no ice machines. So you would have to go downstairs to the front desk and ask them if they could fill up an ice bucket or a cooler. The pool was very small and dirty. I wouldn’t stick my toes in it let alone swim. The only thing positive I would say about the Dew Drop Inn was the room was clean, but they never came back to clean it any other day except the day that you checked in.

We stayed in the Little Richard room and it was spacious and the decor was creative and informative!! Thank you for preserving this landmark iconic location. We search for Green Book locations to stay and this one did not disappoint. I loved the mix between modern comforts and historic legacy. In addition to the great space, the staff was friendly, helpful, and welcoming! The location was convenient to downtown NOLA with a rental and we just enjoyed being in NOLA without being in the French Quarter. If I ever come back, I will drop in!! Get it, Dew Drop Inn!! Thank you!!

Really enjoyed my stay. The staff was extremely helpful and very pleasant. The hotel was full of charm and cultural information about the city.

So I love that this hotel was close to everything nothing was more than 10 minutes away from us. There was free parking in front the hotel it felt safe. The only thing that I suggest is that they put some type of holder or stand near the shower so that you can put your toiletries because inside of the shower that I was in room 210 is nothing there for you to put your soaps or body washes. Other than that everything was great.

Nor what I expected

Very clean and cute. My only complaint is there is no microwave in the room but they will warm it down stairs. And my other complaint is there is no daily room service. Other than that it was a great stay. The location is a little questionable but it ended up being really quiet

Awesome staff

A pleasant little Oasis in NOLA. The property and the staff were warm, inviting. The rooms were thoughtfully curated and the pool area was very calming. I stayed in three locations while in NOLA and this location by far was the most pleasant and rewarding.

Love the rooms and how they put knowledge of the artist/performers on the walls. It’s like sleeping in a museum.

Clean spaces, wonderful staff, great history, and fantastic price. We will be staying here again!

I stayed in Huey P Smith room & it was immaculate, I loved looking at the tree from the window. Everything was clean & tidy. They had everything I needed available. The room was spacious & the best was the super comfortable bed after a long day out. It was great to see the history of the venue. Near other attractions. The curation of the Dew Drop Inn is truly incredible, hands down one best, even top 10, boutique hotel I've stayed at in the US.

I had a 6 day stay and housekeeping never came to my room. The font desk staff was friendly. However I requested housekeeping on 2 separate occasions yet no one came to clean my room

What a good find. This inn is very cozy and just very neat. Each room has a story and is very personalized. Everything is very well thought of. The room is very clean, the staff super friendly and accommodating. I was in love with this place. Highly recommended
