I loved the location and the room was cute. Staff was helpful. I didn’t like the $250 hold they put on my card i still haven’t gotten back. Also didn’t like the fact the air conditioner and fan were broke in the room the first night and we had to sweat all night with no sleep at peak summer in nola. They didn’t offer to comp the room that night which is crazy to me. They comped parking which both should’ve been done. They gave us a room the next day to stay in while ours was fixed. Which was nice. Still, i don’t feel i should’ve had to pay for a hot room the first night. Bed was hard.

Exceptional staff. Room was way bigger than expected. Great little pool area.

Beautiful courtyard, nice little apartment with everything you needed, and good communications with the staff. Excellent value for money!! Nothing, everything was perfect

Location and the originality of the buildings Roof leak in kitchen. We changed rooms to find the shower in our new room didn’t have hot water. This issue was not rectified and we had to go back into our old room to shower.

I loved that it was in between the French Quarter and Frenchman Street. It gives you the choice of going into the more known areas or going into the areas that are a little hipper. In other words, you're in between both and have the best of both worlds. The pool was a little smaller than I had hoped but it still provided a place for the kids to play.

Loved the personal outreach to ensure we had everything we needed both before and during our stay. Also the location - we were able to walk to everything within the French Quarter, and then catch the streetcars if we wanted to travel further out.

The suites were very clean, spacious, and comfortable! Great place to stay in NOLA. There was a wonderful balcony overlooking the street. It was not that hot outside so we were able to sit out there. The huge oak trees gave us some shade. The staff was the very best!!! They were very friendly, completely attentive to our needs, and very professional. Actually, we have no complaints.

Great location. The interior has a great unique charm typical of New Orleans. Very clean. Convenient, cheap parking. Deposit returned almost instantly after stay which I have found incredibly rare in America. The staff were the most helpful since our stay in the United States from the UK. Thank you to Lauren! Some of the lights didn’t seem to work. Minor indiscretion as there were plenty of lamps around.

Excellent location and well maintained property on the edge of the French Quarter.

I recently stayed at the Jean Lafitte Hotel in the heart of New Orleans, just steps from the French Quarter. This historical landmark offers a unique experience, truly making you feel like you’ve stepped back in time. My room included a kitchen, a comfortable bed, and a spectacular bathroom, all impeccably clean. The overall ambiance was breathtaking. The staff provided top-notch service, and the $25 parking fee was worth the peace of mind. While the pool wasn’t ready for use, it didn’t detract from my stay. I highly recommend Jean Lafitte Hotel for an unforgettable New Orleans experience.
