Jean Lafitte House

Great location. The interior has a great unique charm typical of New Orleans. Very clean. Convenient, cheap parking. Deposit returned almost instantly after stay which I have found incredibly rare in America. The staff were the most helpful since our stay in the United States from the UK. Thank you to Lauren! Some of the lights didn’t seem to work. Minor indiscretion as there were plenty of lamps around.

Excellent location and well maintained property on the edge of the French Quarter.

We rented the two bedroom apartment. It was absolutely perfect, clean and beautiful! Great location within walking distance to everything. I loved everything

We had a wonderful experience! We traveled with our three kids, and it was a great set up for a comfortable stay. The deck/porch was a perfect way to end the day. The location was not too loud and it was a close to delicious restaurants. The pool was perfect place to cool off after walking around in the New Orleans heat! Will definitely stay here again.

Location, and staff

The location is perfect! The beds are comfortable and the linens/towels provided were more than enough for our 5 night stay. The pool was under repair for our entire visit. We stayed on the 2nd floor and could clearly hear conversations and the tv from the rooms directly under ours.

Location was awesome Not enough parking for guests. Some of the fans were not working- couldn’t find a switch to turn off can lights in the kitchen area

Beautiful historical venue with large comfortable rooms.

The building itself is stunning—full of character and that authentic, old-world charm. If you're looking for a soul-less modern box, this isn't it. Yes, the floorboards might creak a little, but in a well-maintained, historic building like this, it just adds to the atmosphere. Location-wise, it’s perfect. You’re literally 2 minutes away from the energy of Frenchman Street and a short stroll to the French Quarter, yet the hotel stays surprisingly quiet. It’s like a peaceful little oasis right in the middle of everything. We felt so looked after here. Huge thanks to Amanda and the staff for making us feel so welcome. We'll definitely be back!

Friendly staff and responsive

The property was better than I expected. I loved my room and the apartment like atmosphere Nothing!

Good location. Nice checkin staff Only decaf coffee packets, office hours not fully staffed (hard to get more coffee, creamer and they ran out of sugar)

The staff is just lovely, and the building has a lot of New Orleans character, and the location is great. My one note to them would be that the floors were a little dirty. I take off my shoes inside and the floors were a little gritty.

Location and Asia was very welcoming! So many stairs.
