It was nice and clean just different set up

Seeing the inside was amazing! The historical aspect is incredible. Coffee available in the lobby. Staff kind and helpful. Room was clean, AC was cold. Great stay!

The location and staff were amazing as aways. There were roaches and that was a problem. The bath shower head broke the second day there not because of us and constant water was running in our bathroom.... Making the overall experience more of an annoyance with the broken items and the bugs

It was very chilled, friendly, and the age and style of the building slipped you gently into a New Orleans dream 🎺☠️❤️

Great Location and Atmosphere Some Rooms are small

Frenchman st is less than a block. The french markets are a block away with great food options (Im GF no meat) . Staff are friendly and make you feel at home . It feels safe, its comfortable, there is a great pool , great arctitecture , lots of ice water always available, lots of help always available for little things (l needed bandaids eg). Big fan of this place . I love this place - won't be for everyone. There is no fridge - but ice is plentiful and ice bucket works well to chill food. Power went out 3 times during stay (12 days) - but that is perhaps testament to comfort. It New Orleans. Stuff happens - noting to do with hotel its how comfortable you feel during these events (or what you will need if that happens) that perhaps should decide your stay . Want to feel safe but like you are actually part if this great city - then this is my secret.

The parking fee is 40 per night! The bathroom is mini, there is no way to seat in the toilet in the correct way!

The main house is historic and atmospheric while the courtyard and pool area are tranquil and simply beautiful. Sitting with a coffee, early morning, watching the birds will be an enduring memory of New Orleans. The staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms clean with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location, with the French Quarter to one side and Frenchmen Street to the other couldn't be better. The world would be perfect if they offered breakfast but, hey-ho, you can't have everything!

Such a beautiful place to stay with so much greenery. The pool was our favorite part. The staff was so accommodating we couldn’t have asked for a better stay!

Staff let me hold my bags there before check in and after check out. They were very helpful, and gave great recommendations. If you're looking for a holiday inn... that's not what this is. It's a historic house turned to a hotel..So it has charm and is not a modern feel. The hot tub and pool was amazing, and very close to everything! I had a wonderful experience!

Room was small but clean. Mattress was comfortable. Front desk agent (young lady)didn’t give proper information about how to get in hotel. When I ring the bell door her response was rude. She needs to improve herself on guest service. Poor communication. Area was little weird of the hotel.

Room was basic but clean and location was good. Staff was friendly. Lobby area and rest of common areas could use a bit of tidying up. Felt worn and uncared for.

The location was amazing, the staff was excellent, the pool and courtyard area were clean and comfortable, rooms were large and comfortable. The parking situation is difficult.

Location - close to Frenchman, the river and french quarter on beautiful boulevard. No place to put suitcase.

Beautiful hotel, quiet neighborhood. Within walking distance to everywhere. Parking is a pay per night, but is secure. The pool.and spa are heated and the staff are very helpful and friendly.

The air conditioner was so loud and the room was not clean, the building was so ald and the are was scary.

I would stay again on next visit Wifi kept going out. Air conditioner was too loud

There was a man who showed us the way to the parking lot, which was very helpful!! Our bathroom wasn’t really clean. The upper level is pretty terrifying to walk on, especially for my daughter. About that and the location, she was afraid the whole time. And the stairs are so steep. If you have any issues with stairs, make sure you get a ground floor room!!
