Bad bad bad—please do not book this hotel. This place has been closed for over a year according to surrounding ding businesses. There is no way to check in once you get there. I reported this hotel to the NOLA authorities for scamming and to booking.com for allowing clients to book without checking if the business is legitimate. Not sure how they are getting ratings but what unfolded is that there is a 1-818 numbered you call for this place and they only make new reservations but can not confirm or deny existing ones. Learned my lesson the hard way and still waiting for booking to return my money. Go somewhere else’ please!!!! Everything

Very inconvenient. It was closed

NOT A THING - We arrived at the hotel to be told my someone in the neighborhood that the hotel closed about 30 days prior!!!!!!! Even received a text the morning of arrival saying they were looking forward to uour stay! Upon arrival had to find alternate accommodations while the taxi driver waited for us. Cost additional money to pay to have the taxi driver wait and take us to another location.

Upon arrival, we were met with a sign on the door that said it was closed. PLEASE UPDATE THIS ONLINE!!!

N/A My favorite was when they charged my credit card 5 days before my trip, neglected to tell me that they had closed for business 3 weeks prior and I drove 9 hours to not have any place to stay that night. Top notch!

I called and texted the hotel, absolute radio silence. I was left worrying and disappointed. Had the hotel informed me or Bookings beforehand, I would’ve been okay with it. But because they confirmed my reservation a day before my trip and took my money, I assumed everything was fine. Didn’t know I would be left stranded outside the hotel and worrying about where I’m going to stay. Also had to pay an extra $100 on top of booking another hotel last minute since most affordable hotels were booked. I’m glad I booked through Bookings because at least I can get a refund for this hotel. Imagine I booked with the official website of the hotel?!

The Royal Frenchmen Hotel was VACANT!! The Royal Frenchmen Hotel was not OPEN..
-
The property was closed when we arrived, no notice from the staff/owner

I didn’t like anything about this trip because the hotel was permanently closed when we got there. Booking.com allowed us to make a reservation at a hotel that was closed and then wouldn’t refund my money. My customer service experience with Booking.com was absolutely infuriating and frustrating. I will never do business with this company again and I will do everything I can to make sure that no one I know does either.

Staff was very responsive and personable. I felt like I had made new friends when I left. I thought breakfast could have been better. Some fresh fruit, perhaps.
-
None The location is not inviting. The air conditioner was not working. The staff are not prompt to respond.
-
Everything! The staff was amazing and the room was bad ass. Parking
-
How close it was to the famous streets like bourbon, while being clean and safe. The workers were awesome, Clark helped us out a lot with being unfamiliar with the area. The bartender Virginia was giving great advice for the area.
-
The small issue I did have Mr. Clarke and Ms. Ivey was very helpful.
