Rodeway Inn & Suites New Orleans Gentilly

There was no breakfast available. Thankfully, we did not pay for one, though the booking stated breakfast was included. People were partying and playing loud music from their cars until 11 pm. These cars were not there in the morning, so I do not believe they had rooms there.

Absolutely nothing The area is dangerous, I went to check in on arrival and the lobby was locked. The clerk swiped my credit card to pay and gave me my room key. I went to the room and it smelled of mildew and cigarette smoke. I immediately returned to the lobby to complain and leave. I asked for a refund and the clerk told me to contact the manager on Monday.. I will be calling today to attempt to get my money back or will dispute the credit card charge with the bank.

Room was comfortable I didn't like the fact that there was a tampon in the back of my coffee pot and the drug riff raff

The ONLY thing I liked was how close in proximity it was to restaurants, shopping stores, and the main attractions. The cleanliness was poorest I've ever seen. The type of activities in and around at all hours of the night and day was uncomfortable. No pool, No breakfast, unable to use lobby. Items missing from room- unable to iron or make coffee. It was not worth the price. Save up for better rooms. Do not always go cheap. You get what you DID NOT pay for.

The check in was very quick, they had our key cards ready and it didn't take but a minute. We were greated outside by a rooster, whom apparently lives by the lobby. The room was horribly dirty, there was blood on the walls in two of the rooms and the blow dryer didn't work. The fan in the bathroom sounded like a broken jet plane and couldn't be used. We were approached just outside our room by some sketchy people in a car trying to sell discount feminine hygiene products. During the night, a group of men came by and emptied out the dumpster bags leaving trash everywhere, it was terrifying.

if you want to get high with out smoking this is the place to go .. every time we turned the air conditioner on it smelled like a pound coming out of it

You should not even list this as a place to stay. we cancel and had to find another place! shame on this website for having it as a place for families to go. I’m not from New Orleans and I didn’t know any better. it was horrible the rooms are not what they look like on the website or your booking website!

The area is super ghetto, people watching you getting in and out of the room, people apparently living there and their kids running around, the breakfast info is not true and the front desk lady told me that she brings her own water and I asked for a Fontaine or sink something like that. summing up, was terrible.

Location was fine I had a non-smoking room and there were ashes next to the head of the bed and it reeked of cigarettes as soon as you opened the door

Did not do breakfast maybe some security. people were firing guns into the air at the hotel. not a safe place to stay.

nothing the room smelled like marijuana. there were tons of people in the parking lot by the rooms loud music, profanity, girls in their underwear outside

it was clean the lady over night needs to be fired she has an attitude an Dosent like her job so why she there she was very rude an tried to use somebody else card for my stay made me get up at 6 in the morning for her mistake swore up n dwn my card declined wen I know it didn’t she needs to b fired the morning lady was much more professional

Furniture was new. Night reception crew was rude - Vishar. When booking there was said to be a breakfast included, but when I asked about it Vishar said there isn’t one. When I asked why they say at reservation why there is breakfast he said “Do you want me to cancel your reservation”. Room wasn’t really clean. For two people we had one of each left - one soap, one shampoo, one coffee and etc. Neighbors we’re playing loud music all night banging on the door and etc. I would highly recommend to stay away from this place!

Was in walking distance. Close to food Out dated furniture

Location had food and shopping at walking distance. Rooms need to be updated. Rooms were not ready at check-in. Air conditioner was leaking in room. Called front desk. No one came. No housekeeping. Dirty mattress and pillows. If you have to stay. Make sure you bring bleach an lysol.
