Best Western New Smyrna Beach Hotel & Suites

The beach view and access made this property the best. It's an old hotel, so needs updating and a throughout cleaning. The room was spacious ( just old). The breakfast place was excellent food!

Big rooms comfortable and clean and great location

We stay here once a year for the past 5 years and have stayed here 10+ years ago, and we just love it. Easy access to beach, beautiful spacious rooms and view. Can't wait to stay here next year!

The hotel had cockroaches in the hallway and in the room-I had to spray with raid everyday . Also the coffee tasted like nothing I have ever had before. I would never recommend this place.

The smell of mold was ungodly. Everything was wet feeling including our clothes, the beds, everything gong was damp to the touch. There was a napkin stuffed in the vent. The vents were covered in mold and leaking water. The chair outside on the balcony was broken and sharp. For being a smoke free hotel the smell of marajuana was strong and people smoking at the pool. Had to pick up an inhaler so we could breath and stop coughing.

Very nice room. Comfortable beds and very clean room. Great customer service.

Front desk Bruce was terrible !! Would not get us sugar for our room coffeemaker- tossed us a couple coffee pods. Asked about getting clean towels. Said sorry not today! Only every other day. I really complained to him and about 9pm a maintenance man brought us 2 towels and washcloths. By 3rd day no Housekeeping came to sweep. I told desk to just forget it !! I talked with Corporate saying $1400+ for awful service. Of course they apologized. That’s it. !!

Beautiful beach view the suite was nice

My husband went to the front desk for assistance. The employee working there (a pregnant woman with red hair) told him he needed to bring the remote down to the desk. He explained that he shouldn’t have to make another trip and asked if housekeeping could bring a replacement. At that point, she became argumentative and began yelling at him and was extremely rude. He repeatedly asked her not to speak to him that way. When he mentioned leaving a review, her response was simply, “DO IT!!!!” Because of that interaction, we never got the remote fixed because we didn’t want to deal with her again. We also had to listen to a dog barking for three days in another room for over an hour. On my last morning there, I overheard the same employee complaining to a coworker, using profanity over 3 times and saying she was tired of all the complaints about “that f*cking dog”. Parking was another issue. Large sections were blocked off with cones for the entire three days we stayed, yet no maintenance work was taking place. There were signs threatening immediate towing for anyone who moved the cones, and the same red haired woman asked if anyone got towed last night and the other worker said no. She stated she wished someone would have. So that was our vacation!

The room size is nice. I liked having the bedroom separated from the living area. They could use a little extra sound proofing between the rooms. Our neighbors above us were a little loud. The front counter staff was fantastic. The fish house restaurant across the street is fantastic also. Their clam chowder is the best I've had in years.

Do not stay here, it was filthy. We checked into our room at 8:00 pm check in is after 4:00 when we got to our room we realized it had not been cleaned it was disgusting. They switched us to a different room, it had also not been cleaned. Ended up leaving at 10:00 at night to find a different hotel. It was a great location right on the beach but the hotel was awful!

Excellent staff, friendly and incredibly helpful. The hotel has a great location, the suite was very spacious, but the shower had a bit of mold and we found trash behind the beds (perhaps an oversight by housekeeping). Even so, we loved it and plan to return. Special thanks to Jay at the front desk.

Breakfast was not complementary like we expected, where was a small restaurant on site. Other than that I have no complaints.

Great location and clean Balcony door needed a curtain or something

Absolutely nothing it’s old and dirty and needs fixing up so sad cause it could be so nice I would never recommend it. I would never go back. It was disgusting such a disappointment.
